FBEmeritus I don't see any reason to even play 4A this year. The TSSAA ought to just go ahead and give the gold ball to your Red Rebels. By the way if I'm not mistaken Morristown West went 7-3 last year also. I also believe that they were the ones that beat your beloved Red Rebels in the play-offs. I forgot that was just luck. I believe it is way to early to predict anything.

Sounds to me like there is no use in Morristwon West even showing up, since they have no chance at winning. Rebels probably already have reservations in Murfreesboro. Good luck to both teams.

If you know so much about coaching then why don't you get a team and see if you can throw it on West. I believe that when Kisabeth quit all of you Jeff co. fans wanted Quarles. If I'm not mistaken he also played under Kisabeth.Case did a great job at West this past year especially when you consider that only one starter played DB last year.

That was the first game of the season with a very young football team that is like saying since Cincinnati should have beat Ohio State then they do not deserve the national championship. Bottom line is a lot of people in Knoxville can't beat Maryville so they make excuses and now they want to say they can beat West. When did a team from Knoxville last beat Maryville. i believe that West was the last one to do that. It is easy to get on here and say that you will play West. It is a different story when you have to sign that contract and actually do it.

I have a thought are you sure West is running from the big game or is it that nobody in the state wants to play them? I do not see teams lining up to play them.

I think the qb from east probably went to West instead West going and getting him. I don't blame him if I lived in Morristown I would want to play @ West instead of East.

DAILEY (CUMBERLAND COLLEGE) AND GENE JOHNSON (CARSON-NEWMAN).EAST HAS PLENTY OF TALENT BUT THEY SURE DO NOT KNOW HOW TO PLAY TOGETHER. IF WOODS HAD BEEN AT EAST THE PAST 5 YEARS I BET THE WIN/LOSS RECORDS WOULD HAVE REVERSED.

Just because they have 1 fast player in Houston, this does not make them a fast team. I could name 100 schools in this state that will be faster than Jeff. but I do think they will much improved.
