Does anyone know the times for Region 9 Friday and Saturday?

What time does Region 9 start on Friday at Rossview?

I have heard this comment one too many times. Yes the shamrock is green, but it is also purple. You ask how do I know this???? I have one. If you have any doubts, call a garden center. Just setting the facts straight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My choice would have to be Frank Simpson. Before he got out of the truck, he would have placed several calls. Minutes after getting out of the truck several cars pull up and out comes Phillip, Patrick, William, Jon Michael, Jim, Paul, Pat, Raymond, Whitt, Brian and last but not least Mr. and Mrs. Simpson. If this motley crew does not intimidate them into submission, then the tongue lashing from Mr. and Mrs. Simpson would have them on their Harleys in seconds.

If you want to go back, way back, let's try Pat Simpson (Ryan Coach). He wrestled for MTSU and made it to the Nationals.

Raymond and Whitt Dunning

Sorry but you could not justify any past McCallie actions. They altered their line-up last year in the finals to beat Ryan. If any of you have been around wrestling for any period of time, then you should know that a coach is going to do whatever it takes to win. If this means moving wrestlers up or down in weight classes, or putting in a jv, then that is what he is going to do. There are many game plans going into a match but it all depends on the flip. You can sit on this board and argue all day and night long but what is that going to accomplish, nothing. Let is go!!!!!

It is my understanding that the officials from this past weekend will not be calling the Individual State Tournament in two weeks. I am in agreement, the best officials are essential at both tournaments and it should not matter from what part of the state they come from. These young kids have worked extremely hard and long to get where they are and they deserve the best officiating.

Okay, lets be honest. Simpson did a poor job preparing Dunning from what he would face against Baucke. I mean seriously could he not see the track shoes that Baucke had on. I think the score may have been different if Dunning had his track spikes on. How many people can sprint in wrestling shoes? This leaves me with a question. Is Baucke a cornerback? He is great at backpedalling. There were three stalling calls in that match. One of which actually helped Baucke. He was being chased down when Dunning came in with a mean headthrow. The official actually said bad whistle before awarding Dunning one more stalling point. (FYI: Dunning didn't give up a takedown. He let him up three times.)

Yes Hiller won, but if you are chosen OW that weight class is given to another wrestler.

Maybe it is a practice they should start. I have been to matches where the coaches and wrestlers were out cleaning the mats prior to the match and before any wrestler was allowed on it. Health wise, it just makes sense.

This thread is wrestling fans and my vote goes to Baylor. They seem to swarm, pushing people out of their seats that they have occupied all weekend at a tournament. They come in, sit down and stare at you, daring you to say something. Two years ago at the state tournament finals they demanded that fans move because they were cheering against Baylor. These people had been seating there all weekend and refused to move. The Baylor people started shouting and making derogatory statements. I also know that Baylor parents have called other schools' principals complaining about that school's behavior. Yes, my vote is definitely the Baylor fans!

Is this a one day tournament? What time does wrestling begin?

ESPN2 will carry the finals at 6:00 P.M. If I remember last year, it is not the entire match.
