I expect HC to win this district next year, but watch out for DC, especially after next year.

I just have a feeling half of DC will show up to this game, and it would have been a better fit being played at DC. I guess it really doesn't matter though, they would have to play the series at CW the next year anyways.

Why would they have the first DC/CW game at CW?

The paper a couple of weeks ago said that DC's non-region games would be Columbia and Hendersonville so I'm not so sure about the CW game. I know the frosh teams have played the last two years with DC winning both games easily.

This game needs to happen. I believe it will eventually, but it might take some time. The freshman teams have squared off the last two years with DC winning both fairly easily.

When you have about 8 sophomores playing on D against one of the toughest schedules around. You can't expect much more than that.

Not sure why Riverdale and DC would stop playing. This matchup has been going for quite awhile now. The DC/CW game will eventually happen and you're right, it will be a huge money maker for the schools. The freshman teams have actually played the last two seasons and Dickson has won both games easily.

DC isn't running the wishbone. They're more a traditional stack I team, than a wishbone team anyways.

Hats off to CHS, but I was very proud of the way Dickson played last night. Going into the game 0-5, they could have easily just coasted through the game but they played their hearts out. CHS made some early mistakes and DC took advantage of them. However, it was enough in the end. With only a handful of seniors on the team, I expect DC to make some noise in the next couple of years, especially in the new allignment next season.

Very impressive win by the Pats last night. I had a feeling the game might turn out like that if things didn't go exactly right for the Cougars. DC could be in for a long season, but there could be a silver lining. They're playing a lot of sophomores. There were at least 3 or 4 sophomores on the field on every play last night. That's pretty unusual for DC. This team is young and down in numbers, and hopefully they can improve as the season goes on. I doubt they see a better team than they saw last night. Good luck to Henry County the rest of the season.

None of that is true. Nobody ever says that from WilCo. Especially the part about tradition and support.

It would be amazing if you guys field up the away bleachers. I've only seen them half full a couple of times and we play a bunch of good traveling teams. Our away bleachers have to be some of the biggest in the state.

True, Columbia Central has put out plenty of D1 players and they're at the bottom of Region 6.
