Franklin didn't beat Dickson easily. If my memory serves me correctly, DC had the lead at the start of the fourth. Franklin recovered a fluke fumble for a 5 yard TD with about a minute left to make it a 17 point game. Although it was one of DC's worst performances of the year, Independence gave it to DC that night by controlling the game the whole night. The Franklin-DC wasn't decided till about 6 minutes left in the 4th, the Indy game was over way before that. Either way common opponent scores will not be what determines this game, neither will the score of the last game between the two. I say Indy wins this one behind Pettigrew's legs in the second half.

Word on some Vol boards is that Cut wants to change to a spread offense but they're not sure if they have anybody that can run it. I don't know how serious this is because it is just from a message board. I do know that the QB's UT has been showing interest in this year have been more dual-threat. I would like to see anybody from TN play for the Vols, but I don't know if this guy plays QB at UT.

Tennessee signed 11 in state players last year, most of which were 3 star players and even 2 star Cory Hall. Dennis Rogan, from Knoxville, was just named SEC Speacial Teams Player of the Week. He's a 3 star player UT signed. By the way, we signed a QB from Tennessee last year. Also, those athletes or atheletes we are signing are being recruited by every other team in the south and sometimes country. With that said, I was hoping UT would offer Phillips. However, he commited to Wisconsin pretty early so who's to say he wouldn't have been offered by UT. They might still offer him, although I doubt it.

You are wrong about the refs, and that kick was so obvious. If you watch the replay you will see that there was 3 or 4 players literally two yards down field when he kicked it. However, the game is over so it doesn't really matter so good luck next week against Indy. Thanks about the crowd, we were packed over in those bleachers.

Wasn't saying that was the reason DC lost, however, it did play a part in it. Did you see that onside kick, that was probably the worst call I've seen in my life. Antioch had atleast four guys two yards down field before it was kicked and that is no exageration, if anything they were further down field than that.

So what, when has DC ever been able to match athletes with a metro team. With that being said, I think you will be suprised with the talent that DC does have at its skill positions.

I think Franklin takes care of buisness. IMO the best first round match up is Antioch vs DC

There have been much crazier upsets in the playoffs. Last year in 5-a, five #1 seeds lost in the first round. Stewart County will be up for this game and had an extra week to prepare and rest up any injuries.

Gallatin is a scary draw for a 1 seed to get. I think Gallatin keeps it close up to halftime but Pettigrew will be to much for Gallatin in the 2nd half.

DC had control of this game the entire night. You could really tell by the way the Ravenwood players were playing, there was late hit after late hit but not one was called untill the very end. The hit on Bell at the end of the game going out of bound was ridiculous and I knew it was coming because thats how Rwood was playing all night. Ravenwood was very lucky to even be in this game, it should have been a lot worse. Also, I know Ravenwood likes to roll the dice but a fake punt from the 15 seemed pretty desperate to me.

I agree, worry about it at the end of the season. I doubt its anything anyways.

The game should have already happened but if DC fails to make it, this would be a perfect oppurtunity to make it happen. I believe CW will miss the playoffs with 5 wins. Hopefully DC will win next week against Rwood and it won't even matter.

If DC doesn't make it, I'd rather see Dickson vs Creek Wood but it probably won't happen.

This was a good game, much closer than the score. Franklin's last TD being a fumble recovery for a TD with less than a minute left. It was no fluke for sure, but the game was pretty even throughtout with the game really not being settled till about halfway through the 4th. Last year was last year so I won't comment on that one.
