Just want to let everyone know I appreciate all the hard work and time Joe and the rest of the fire coaches put in and how much they helped Niki and they knew up front she was going to Polk. The Fire helps to make all district 5 teams better.

Congrats to coach Sam and the Meigs co. Tigers. Levi showed why he is up for Mr. BBall and they are young. Coach Sam will need to rent an apartment in the burro. Good coach, good players, the Burro all go together. Polk County says go Tigers.

Been coaching high school basketball off and on for 25 years and could care less about Bradley or Blackman however I cant beleive a referee made that call at that time in the game. We all know that regardless of what the assigners say we have good referees and bad. In 5aa we have several good and several bad and I dont have to say who is good or bad because the coaches know. The bottom line is that the only people in control of high school sports that have no one to answer to is referees. They control the whole game and yes they do help determine who wins or loses so they should be held accountable. Maybe the tssaa will start spending money on referee trainers instead of going to Hawaii for conferences. Who gives a shtttt if they can give the right hand signals ca just get the call right.

I have known Coach Lane for 2o years have coached against him and attended his camps and although I have not always agreed with him on the way he votes especially concerning the public schools versus private schools issue he doesnt have a dishonest bone in his body. I think the tssaa rule is clear if you want to play for signal then spend half a million and move on the mountain. Just like to know how many students attend signal that live out of there zone and what percentage of that number are good athletes. If this is overturned then Brentwood Academy should file another lawsuit. If you play ineligible players and get caught then you deserve what you get. You cant tell me Bill price didnt know he was bending or breaking the rules.

are ipods and headphones legal in tssaa competition? I have looked at the rules of golf and tssaa rules and have found nothing that says you cant use them however every match someone says they are illegal in tournament play.

If the speed limit is 30 and you were running 31 you broke the law. But you want to gripe when you get caught? By the way the speed limit is 40 and if you say you got pulled over for running less than 50 you are lying. I thought this was a football board so if we are going to talk about breaking laws or rules lets talk about recruiting. Great respect for Alcoa they are the best team in the state regardless of classification and Maryville is Maryville but dont talk bad about my hometown.

If he took the trophy and left it in the box thats fine. He was just trying to save them some money on next years trophies. Im sorry but 2nd is just the last loser. With their program 2nd isnt good enough and im sure thats what he was trying to get across.

I havent saw Jon in 25 years since our days at Cleveland State. I have often wondered how he and Darrel were doing. He is one of the nicest and low key guys i have ever known and it is hard for me to believe that he could have wanted something like thi to happen. Good Luck Jon. FOOS

Just to adress the topic of Polk's batting averages sundance and 6+4+3=2 both know "Frankie" and I don't think you have any doubt about his integrity. I will guarantee you it is an argument in the dugout as to what is a hit and what is not. Don't blame inflated batting averages on a bad book keeper blame it on teams with weak pitching. I don't usually say much on here but when you question the integrity of coach Lowery it bothers me. I will guarantee you he can still show anyone from PCHS or MCHS how to catch a ground ball. Can I get an amen. By the way I will hide behind my coach t name.

Coach B is doing the best he can with what he has. Good players make a good coach and Bledsoe has kids who work hard but they are not great basketball players. You are competing in a very tough district and unfortunately the tallent level on your team is not as good as a lot of the other teams thus you have to play your best just to have a chance and sometimes its still not good enough. Coach B is a good coach and gets the most from his players but it is easy to sit on the top row and coach the perfect game I did it many times however when you move to the bottom row it becomes a little more difficult.

Del, as for the football game the kids will decide it on the field, but as for the tailgate party the embalmer does it right, There may be a lot of things he does wrong but cooking shrimp and burgers aint one of them. Come check it out.

I will guarantee that pc1 is not #1 on the baseball team. Furthermore it better not be a baseball player at PC. I would love for coach Wild Bill to find out a baseball player is posting on here!

William #19 I appreciate all the good words and I also appreciate your support Took. I am glad someone finally appreciates my coaching ability. My chest is beginning to stick out a little more and my head is starting to swell. I realize I have all the tools to be an excellent head baseball coach, I can fill a cooler with water, drive a school bus and scratch in all the right places, not to mention I look much better in a baseball uniform than coach " Wild Bill". Maybe with all my fans continued support I will finally reach my lifetime goal which is to be the head coach of the world famous Polk County All-Star Tee Ballers.

Good post coach J don't break the speed limit and you will be fine break it and you get what you deserve a ticket. I don't see how you can complain about getting a ticket when you are running 60 in a 45.

White House fans don't worry about the local police officers all you have to do is obbey the law and there will not be a ticket. The posted speed limit through benton is 45 mph follow that and there will be no problem.
