  1. Yeah, he lives in my neighborhood. Playing for the Lynchburg Hillcats...Pirates single A club.
  2. The last time Tullahoma went to the state in baseball was my son's senior year-05.
  3. Tullahoma had their chances, but kept shooting themselves in the foot. Penalties, INT's, and dropped passes killed them.
  4. We were discussing that....when I got there at 6:15, the CC side was full. I would say 7,000. People along the fence were easily 3-4 deep. I sit at the top and people were standing behind the seats next to the wall. One of the largest crowds I have seen at Wilkins Stadium.
  5. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Great win, Tullahoma!
  6. Tullahoma scored as we were leaving making it 38-7. Don't know the final. Way to go 'Cats.
  7. Prayers to his family, friends, and classmates.
  8. The game is in a weather delay. They will meet at 10 to decide what they are going to do. Was at the game until the rains/wind/lightening came. I would say it rained at least 2 inches in 30 minutes. Lincoln Co. was up 12-7.
  9. Agreed. Hard to replace Barnes, Askins, and Cross. A lot of questions to be answered in week 0. Hopefully Coach Olive will have them ready to go.
  10. Way to go, Lady Cats! Good luck in the regionals.
  11. Thanks for the play by play! Congrats to both teams and good luck in the regionals.
  12. I think Tullahoma and Columbia play Friday. I have heard 2 different times-3:30 and 5:00. Sorry, I don't know which is correct.

Scoreboard says Lincoln Co 3 Tullahoma 0 as a final score.

Tullahoma wins 3-1 over FC. Freshmen Josh Bryant picked up the win.

Went to the game last night...sorry to say T-town is that bad.
  16. Chance Banks homered for the Cats in game one. Cats had one hit game two. Looks like a long season for Tullahoma.
  17. IMO he is a much better basketball/football player. He was a decent pitcher in Babe Ruth, but he couldn't hit.
  18. It may have been harder on the team if he had been playing baseball the last 4 years instead of the last 2 months. Good luck to the Cats! I think they are going to need it.

I thought he signed with Tenn. Tech to play football????
  20. Tullahoma has a new coach-Brad White.
  21. Tullahoma has had great feeder programs for the other sports, but not basketball. This year a new league has been formed for 4th and 5th graders at each elementary school. They will play against each other and also other schools in the area. I haven't seen a schedule, but I do know there is at least one Franklin Co team in the league. The league is focused on fundamentals and trying to get the girls ready for the 6th grade team. Not to take away from church league or upward basketball, but this seems like a step in the right direction. A league that is more in line with what other sport feeder programs (Litttle League, soccer, softball, Mullins football) are trying to teach our youngsters. There is some talent at the high school right now, not great talent, but a glimmer of hope. Maybe Coach Galloway can pull it all together. I hope so. Good luck Lady Cats!
  22. 33-25. Stratford had a chance late in the fourth quarter, but blew it with several penalties, and a huge sack by T town.
  23. Great win by Tullahoma. Let's do it again next Friday. Go Cats!
  24. Tullahoma's D was great. They made some BIG hits. Their second and third string didn't let CC first string score. Their offense wasn't too shabby, either Good job Cats!
