Sevier County could give Whitehaven fits. However, I think the larger court at the glass house will affect their shooting. I think Bearden handles Franklin. Bearden/Whitehave will be a heck of a game. Memphis East has a pretty clear path to the finals. Remember, smart money is always on Memphis teams come state tourney time.

The only good take away for OR last night is that we played so poorly and still only lost by 14. It's weird, Fulton has had several of those types of games against us where everything fell apart. Hopefully we will bounce back like we did after losing to AC.

I agree. We just need to take care of business in the District Tournament and get that #1 position for 3-AAA in the Region Tournament. But, after the December stumbles to Bradley Central and Anderson County, we have come together to be a pretty good team.

Oak Ridge finishes district play at 13-1 with a win over Powell 70-62. Powell was within 4 with 30 sec to go, but the Wildcats were able to close the game out.

Statement game at Oak Ridge. Lady Wildcats thump the Lady Cougars 74-44. OR will need to win over Powell on Monday to share the District 3-AAA title.

That is correct. Every district has it's own way of handling the district tournament.

Oak Ridge clinches the regular season District 3 Championship with a 76-67 win over Karns. Per David Clary, they also are making their 24th straight visit to the Region 2 tournament.

It depends on the district. Some have tie-breaker rules, others. like ours (District 3) draw at the beginning of the season for tie breakers. Top 2 teams in the district get automatic region bids.

Oak Ridge won today 57-47 over Seffner Christian Academy. Either team we play in the Semis are going to be very tough. South Sioux City is ranked No. 1 in the their class in Nebraska and Spring-Ford is a small school powerhouse in PA.

Good blowout win tonight for the Lady Wildcats 65-30. Mitchell-Steen had a monster game. We have some good young players that are improving fast.

Yes, AC won. I was just able to watch the first half. AC was out-hustling our players and hitting some clutch shots. Our defense was not good. We are not good enough to have an off night and expect to win. Hopefully we can use the upcoming week to work some things out. That was only Coach Green's 7th district loss since he has been here. I say our district is pretty wide open, but the talent level overall is down. Unfortunately for all of our teams, District 4 is just loaded.
