I'll be watching this game from Cali. This should be a great game with lots of playmakers on both sides. It's hard to bet against GQ and company in the end. Rebs pull away late 35-21.

I can tell that you know nothing about the tradition at Alcoa. I can guarantee the best athletes to come out of Alcoa grew up in those 13 streets. Of course there's a few athletes that transferred in, but there's no need for Alcoa to recruit. This community breeds athletes, and some of the best ones didn't even play sports in high school.

We already play up dude. CPA beat up on both 4a finalist this year ya know, so I'm sure we could compete with any team in 4a. We'll just enjoy our 14th gold ball for now and let you guys keep on hating!

Alcoa has been open zoned since the beginning of time! I believe 1919 was the year. It's not like we became open zoned and then started winning titles. Believe me, we've always had the athletes but no weight program, facilities, or the numbers to win consistantly.

We sure didn't hear anything about this in the 80's or 90's, and in my opinion, back then we had better athletes. But since we didn't win as many games or championships then it didn't matter huh? KEEP HATING!

I heard 2 Maryville starters were kicked off the team today. Can any Rebel fan confirm this? I don't want to call the players out by name or say what they did on here, but if it's true, how will it affect the Rebs moving forward?

Maryville may throw it all over the field on my Tornadoes, but Alcoa's front 4 won't be pushed around by many teams. This is the biggest line we've had and they are physical. I think it will be closer than most may think.

Cpa is a dangerous team...Alcoa should be able to pound the rock though...

Great game last night but The play that changed the game was #12 fumbling the ball through the end zone and the refs not calling it. They did penalize the Irish for face masking on that play. Good luck next week
