MLK is no longer undefeated in district 8AA. East Lit beat them 40-35 in double ot last night. It was a hard faught game. East Lit lead the whole game untill a MLK player hit a three with 6 seconds left to send it to overtime. MLK held the ball for the whole first overtime with secons left Johnny Lee drove baseline and was blocked by David Mcmillian. That ended the 1st ot. East lit scored off the tip in the 2nd ot, and really didn't look back from there. East lit is on a three game winning streak (Greenbrier;2, Lipscomb;20,MLK;5) and they are playing well as a team.

Coasterboarder, East lit is a good team that can play. Last year we beat teams like Antioch, Portland, and Upperman. This year weve beat good teams, and im not even talking about Forrest. So if you dont know who we are, YOU WILL!!!

I think Quinten Dailey is the best freshman in Davidson Co.

I think Quinten Dailey,a freshman from East Literature, is looking big this year. The 6-footer has dominated frehman games. In the game against Mcgavock he scored 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals. Then came back, later that night, and and scored 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals in the win against Universityschool.

I think Quinten Dailey from East Literature is up there with the top freshman in the county. He scored 16pts,8 reb, and 3steals in the game against Mcgavock. Then came back to the school and hit 8pts,6reb,and 2 steals in the varsity game against university school.

East Lit. is off to a 2-0 start. they beat Montessori Academy by 19, and USN by 6 in overtime. They play Fairview tuesday.

Are you guys forgetting about Brandon Smith & David McMillian from east magnet. Brandon has helped this team in so many ways, he rebounds, plays d, and provides a whole lot of offense (he just need to be smarter and stay out of foul trouble). David has been put in a new position (point) and is doing a tremendous job at it.

East Lit is 5-5 are very dangerous in any given game (ask Antioch)

Don't forget about nate hancock. Both he and Chris play on my aau team, but nate can flat out shoot the ball. So watch out for him

Last night east literaure beat upperman n an exciting ot game. How could you rank mlk first and east lit last. This makes no sense. East has a solid team this year with four Juniors and 1 senior that KNOW HOW TO PLAY THE GAME. Its ok though we like for people to look over us. but when it comes tourney time dont be suprised when we aer top three.

Man its like this everyone talks all this mess about who going to win I say it's like this: East Lit learned a thing from with in. Looseing only 1 senior and gaining more power down low that's dominant. Look for role players and there two wing mans to step up. It ain't no joke no more about them moving up.

East magnet has alot of potntial, this year. they picked up a newbig man hs year that can easily hit 20 any givn nght. Also e only lost one seniorlast year. solok o for the eagles
