Its too bad that all of these guys are good, but look like middle schoolers next to brandan wright. The unreal sophmore has over 1,000 points 3/4 of the way through his sophmore year. here we come 3,000...

Redman-- you look like a lowlife on this board... what kind of grown man that is a coach of High School baseball can go bashing on a starting shortstop for a highschool team? You obviously show some kind of jealiousy that you do not have a good enough shortstop at your school, whatever it might be... I play summer ball with Taylor Bates, and he is a quality middle infielder. With all the work he has put in and the success he has had he should be on this list. He plays in the TOUGHEST division in Tennessee High School Baseball, and he managed to lead the region's shortstops in batting average. Even if you do think that he is not worthy of this prestigous list, why would u state your opinion for everyone to see? It makes everyone think lesser of you, and could make some people angered. Until you get a good shortstop for your team, keep it to yourself.

D2 middle needs some love... they get no talk... whats everyone thinking about this year?

I would lay down a bet with anyone for any amount of money that Brandan Wright would dominate any player from and division in the state. The sad thing is that he is only a sophmore. Not good news for Tennessee teams the next two years.

Scott Pettus of MBA is no doubt the most experienced hurler in Division II Middle Region, and stands as the prominent leader. BGA comes with more guys that can get it over the plate and make you hit the ball while they make plays. Father Ryan will have a good pitcher also in Vinnett. BA will be looking for leadership on the mound by Stephen Burris, and followed by Andrew Hogin and Brad Bowker.

The second annual Turkey Bowl at 2:00 is taking place today, November 26, 2003. Teams are pilgrims vs. indians, and it should be a valient matchup. Tickets are being sold at the box office for $1....Please attend, thankyou

WITHOUT A DOUBT--- the two best teams in the state - Brentwood Academy and MBA play this week.... this is saturday, but by far the best game of the highschool season in the state of tennessee. possibly the southeast

Brentwood Academy has the best fans no doubt... they may not have the most, because their school only has about 500 students 6-12, but the students that they do have are crazy people, and the parents travel and scream as good as anyone else.... to top it off--- BA has good fans and they win most every game

Christian Brothers was the cheapest team i have seen this year... After almost every play someone was getting pushed back down, or choke, or kneed or anything you could think of. Starting in the second half, the refs started called personal fouls on those actions, and it really hurt CBHS. The fans of CB were also very rude and out of control. Walking by the BA section with both hands flashing the middle finger up and yelling almost any curse words imaginable... They couldnt handle the RED GANG (in memory of the chain gang) and they had to respond to their loss with anger and harsh language. BA--good win-- i love to see the glass you guys have...

I think that BA should have just snapped the last field goal of regulation over the holder, and the kickers head. Then no one would have argued anything and BA would have lost it. But MBA did that so BA won it. thankyou

Verdict Stands - Joe Biddle IS bias towards MBA and CPA-- NO ONE in this world likes BA, so all we can do is win and make everyone made, im sorry we have to always win

Good thing that they are ahead of BA in just the middle portion of their own state...

i think we should take a vote-- and tell robjim to go talk about cpa and nashville school for the blind or whoever else is in their division. Don't limit them to the best public or private school. No doubt, they are the best team on any level...including the Titans. And nationwide, no high school could beat MBA...most junior colleges would fall to the BIG RED also. They are the best ever! You happy now? MBA showed that they were a very talented team on Friday and all of this year. But the best team in the state usually wouldnt lose a big game.

Can the Tennessean please work on getting a writer that does not lean to one teams side? Joe Biddle will write whatever it takes to make MBA look like the best team in the country. He has no writing skills... He even got the score wrong in his nice article this morning....
