Could we PLEASE get back on the topic? Who are the candidates for the job? I ve heard that two current members of the CCCHS staff are very interested as well as a college coach. Or there others? I thought some area coaches would be interested.

Is it a tournament or a classic?

What weeks do they still have open? Signal Mountain is said to be having trouble finding opponents.

Does anyone know who is participating in this tournament besides Coffee County and Ezell-Harding? Is it boys and girls? Is it a tournament or a classic? Full schedule?

Eddie is a good guy and got left by the "Legend" with a good bunch of kids that were not blessed with a ton of athleticism. Right, coaches throw games all the time. You are an idiot. Stick to your job at the factory and let the real coaches coach. Not the armchair quarterbacks. First, under the old system Coffee County would have hosted a first round game and would have kept hosting as long as they won because they were district champs. Secondly, there are alot of 5 or 6 teams district so dont throw Coffee County under the bus for that. Coffee County DID what they had to do to get in. They are NOT a wild card or second in the district; they are DISTRICT CHAMPIONS. Sure I'll be the first one to agree that District 7AAA is stronger than District 6AAA, but 1) not all the Rutherford County can or should get in the playoffs and 2) if Siegal wins the games on their schedule then they get in. Lastly, I HATE this system that Ronnie Carter left us. The old system was better and fairer. Coaches and players should be able to win or lose games and playoff positions on the field and NOT on someone's computer, media ranking, or a chalkboard. Congrats to Coach Nunley and his staff at Coffee County. You did what you had to do. Good luck in the playoffs. You earned the right to be there.

District 8 is stronger than district 6 but NO team made it past region semi-finals over there this year. Still think you have to put the ball in the hole and score more points than the opponents to win. Coach Muckle average 0.0 points per game from the sideline. Too many missed layups and free throws and I KNOW that they practice those things every day. You cant have more than one head coach on the team.

He has a couple of starters and 8 solid freshmen returning and finished third in the district. I say give the man one or two more years and see what can happen. It wasnt like they were knocking down the door when the job was posted last time. Thats the problem NO consistence to the staff here. Lets get mad and get rid of a coach after a year or two. Parents will ALWAYS complain. Seen state championship teams that have someone who didnt get the ball enough or enough playing time. Will he get another year? With some of the yahoos around the program, who knows!!!

I have also noticed alot of "football people" with itchy trigger fingers when using a stopwatch. I have seen some times posted that are a joke on here. Also, there is a different speed that some players have when they have some one pursuing them. What's the old joke: I am faster the closer someone gets to me.
