I must have hit a nerve and I have no idea where this came from. I am not trying to debate, belittle or criticize anyone. I gave a comment..that's it. By the way, most Div I colleges do a good job. Some NAIA schools and high schools also do a good job. Many assistants carry palm pilots and are responsible for specific stats (like rebounds only). Student assistants also help. Official stats can be verified by watching the game film and may take a day to verify. Parents can always help but I doubt the larger schools would have to rely on a parent.

The only stat that can be certain is points. Unless you have a team of statisticians, they couldn't possibly be accurate. In addition, turnovers and assist are subjective. Even most college programs are just guessing in my opinion. Most statisticians would argue on when to give an actual assist. "The school" refers to Siegel. Official stats should be kept by a coach or paid official with no family involved. Family members tend to see things differently than most. Although I get a kick out of parents keeping stats. I'm sure you must work for the school. You do a good job and I enjoy the stats on Coacht, when they are accurate.

My prediction for overall best finish would be the kgc lady pride 13u team. I think they will finish 5th in the country. Overall best program would be team pride with 5 teams possibly finishing 16th or better.

I thought Fayette-Ware was in Somerville. That is quite a drive from Memphis.

If your an elite player, do you think this is the way to go or the traditional AAU? I doubt all the girls are really considered elite (meaning div I SEC or ACC). But most will be in the NAIA to mid-major level.

I didn't realize out-of-state players could play on a Tennessee team. Is there a rule on how far a player can travel to play on another team or does it have to be a border state?

I am curious as to why Jackson County moved to single A. I realize they had a choice since their numbers qualify them for single A. Since they are very close to class AA cutoff, why wouldn't they choose to remain in AA? With the success they have had in AA and the competition a little better, I thought they would have been a better fit for AA.

That Tony Cross @ Belmont is a genius. It is amazing what one great player can do for a program and a coach. Of course she did the same for Mt Juliet last year. Without Clark last year, Mt Juliet would have been, well........ just like this year.
