Tennessee is currently 9-2. Lots of teams right now wish they were 9-2. Buzz is getting this program on track. They have some good young players.

I'm not a fan of LA or JC, but I can tell you NEITHER team is overrated.

Is this a Powell vs. SC thread?

I believe White Co. will beat one or two of the Boro teams THIS YEAR. I could be wrong. Just my opinion.

White Co. is leading at 4-0. I believe a couple of other teams have one loss. It will be tough winning this District.

White Co. led the whole way. Wound up winning by 12. They had a 20 ponit lead at one time. Amanda Lewis had a great game with 6 or 7 three pointers. Good job Warriorettes!

Oakland won by 12 tonight. It was closer than the score might indicate. It was a one point game until late in the 3rd quarter. Keep up the hard work White County!!!

I don't believe they have a freshmen state championship. They do have a Dist. championship.

Hoop20 got some bad info. They had not even played yet when they made their post.

Riverdale 67 White Co. 49 White County's Ross and Simpson got in foul trouble early. That makes it hard with only 6 players. White Co. dropped to 6-1.

LA plays great defense and they make it hard to get good looks at the basket, but if you were there you had to see the 8 or 10 shots at the basket White Co. had from 6 or 8 feet away that were basically uncontested shots that just wouldn't fall. However, I don't have a big problem with shots not falling{sometimes they just don't fall}. I do have a problem with the HORRENDOUS passes we made all night.

Anybody know why Slatten didn't start Gribble against Livingston Tuesday? Why would you not start the most talented player on the team?

White County's John Gribble will be one to watch.

This game is tonight{Thursday}. I believe both Riverdale freshmen and White Co. freshmen are undefeated. Who's going to win???

Possibly the 4 best in 7-AAA go at it Friday. Oakland vs. White Co. and Riverdale vs. Cookeville.

I agree totally on the 3 point range comment. She had the longest range I have ever seen{boy or girl}. She would take about 4 steps past half court and fire it up. I saw her do this about half a dozen times and she never missed once in the 3 or 4 games I saw her play. The first time I saw her do this I thought it was the end of the quarter and she was just slinging it up there.

Everybody but undefeated Sevier.

Unless you see a dunk personally or see one recorded on tape it's IMPOSSIBLE to understand how good{or bad} it is unless you see it with youy own eyes.

How did this game play out? Did Cookeville trail the entire game or???

90warrior...You are definitely right. White Co. played VERY sloppy tonight. Bad passes, missed "chip shots", etc. I can't believe they actually led half the game.

benchcoach....You were right when you said White Co. wasn't playing their best. They played horrible tonight against LA. I've never seen so many sloppy passes and missed "chip shots." I can't believe they actually led half of the game.
