bigH32....Cookeville would have won lots of games without Reed this year. However, with her I think it put them the best in the District. Without her I think White Co. and Riverdale finish #1 and #2 with Cookeville 3rd. Cookeville had 2 of the best 3 players in the Dist. I think Horton was the best, Taylor 2nd, and Reed 3rd best. Next year Cookeville will have one great player{Reed} and several good players. I think they will be an easier team to guard with Taylor gone. Teams will double Reed and make someone else beat them. Last year Taylor AND Reed could beat you. White Co. wins Dist. with Cookeville 2nd. Just my opinion. Don't take it personal.

TSSAA looks the other way when it comes to $$$$$$$$$$$Shelbyville$$$$$$$$$$$$

The fact remains they are winning state championships without their own hometown players. TSSAA can't do anything if they are moving into Shelbyville and getting a home address. HOWEVER, do people honestly think these families are packing up and moving to Shelbyville not knowing if their daughter is going to make the team? NO WAY, they have been recruited and KNOW they are going to find employment and their daughter will make the team. This thread will probably get locked now.

White Co. will be a tough team to beat next year with several top players back including their scorer PLUS the freshmen just won the District this year. Go Warriorettes!!!

They will definitely miss A. Taylor. They will still be a very good team, but I don't think they'll be quite as good as this years team. This year you had to worry about stoping two great players. Next year teams will have to worry about stoping one great player{Reed}. They will be in the top 3 in the Dist. along with White Co. and Oakland. Who knows who will win the Dist. I think without Horton Riverdale won't be in the top 3 of the Dist. this upcoming year. Oakland has good players back{Hayes and the 6'5" girl}. Cookeville has a good nucleus back. And White Co. who played 9 players all year has 5 of them back including their 2 leading scorers{Lewis and Sunday}. It should be a tough Dist. again. Just my opinion.

After watching this game I believe Jackson was just the bigger and better team. I was impressed with Cavin though. It was the first time I had seen her play. Jackson Co. just has too many weapons. They will definitely miss Apple and Bowman next year, no doubt.

You can throw in White Co. who used to be in Dist. 7-AA and is still BARELY large enough to be considered AAA you can add 2 more silver balls to your count.

White Co. won the tough Dist. 7-AAA this year. They have some great freshmen coming to the varsity team next year.

I hope it stays at MTSU. It needs to be in a central location. Memphis would be an 8 hour drive for people in East TN.

Jackson Co. wins, but I think it will be a close one.

ANY team can be beaten that's why you play the games. By the way, you play Sevier on Friday, not Saturday.

3pointer.....These really are NOT diff. players. Jackson Co. has many of the same players as they did last year when they won the championship.

I think I did with a 19-4 record Monday night.

I will pick Sevierville to win also. They won the thing last year you know.

I truly hope you sling that stone straight and true Mt. Juliet. There are about 95 out of 96 counties in TN that agree with me on that one. 3 freshmen and 2 sophomore starters? Future looks bright for MJ.
