He said nothing about our players, coaches, or the way the kids have played. He simply pointed out that, just like every other school, DC has some fans that support one sport and not another and then say that they are the best fans in the state.

I am a dc fan and completely agree with your post. The holier than thou attitude from some people is getting kind of annoying.

Whoop de doo? Bolivar is a very good team. Try to get off the pedestal, because Dyer County will have problems in Region. You are crazy if you don't think so. Bolivar, Covington, and others are good enough to beat Dyer County on a given night. I hope DC wins District and Regions, but it is going to be harder than you seem to think it will be. EDIT: Covington fans should be proud and on here showing support for their team, because Bolivar is a tough team to beat. "I wanna know where ALL of these Covington fans before the Bolivar game and would have they posted anything if they had lost to Bolivar (without Reeves)?" Judging from your profile you joined this website in 2008, so you can't really say anything about people posting when their team is winning.

Wow, it's awesome and almost unheard of that a player (high school especially) hits both free throws to win a game. Very clutch.

Rex got a technical foul called him, which was the correct call. There was no more trouble from him for the rest of the night. JT wouldn't stop playing dirty. There is a big difference in that. By the way, #44 for Dyer County was fouled out on "ticky tacky" fouls if you want to go that route and blame the referees.

What calls do you think were bad? I think that it was one of the more fair games that I have seen officiated tonight. Please tell me you don't think that #41 didn't commit his five fouls. He was playing dirty the whole night, and deserved everything he got. John Hudson put him in his place though for sure.

I love it when sore losers get on here and talk trash about players wanting to play basketball. GCPioneer, if you guys had a stud team, maybe kids would want to transfer to your school. You are growing more obsessed with trash talking the boys of DC by the day. When you have a nice school in a nice town, and a good basketball team, you will get students transferring in. Who doesn't want to be on the winning team?

Anything is possible, but it will be hard for Dyersburg to win this. Rarely have I seen someone that can contain Dyersburg, so I don't think that will happen.

This was one of the few games that I have missed this season for DC. Wish I would have went now! How to did CJ do? Was DC playing bad or has Haywood improved a lot? If someone could tell the highlights of the game and the ups and downs of it, it would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats to the Dyer County for winning the championship. Also, congrats to the so called 'levels below Simms' CJ Crittendon on winning the MVP for the tournament.

I haven't seen White Station this year yet, but I can only imagine how entertaining it is watching them with Joe Jackson. Being from Dyer County, I will throw them in there due to CJ picking apart every defense that tries to stop him. Big Ced is very entertaining to watch just because of how hard he plays the games. I have also never seen a freshman as promising as Fred.

Oh, I remember that call and it was totally out of nowhere. That was the worst call of the night IMO.

I was at the game and I agree with you, Ced does have a temper problem. That said, I think McCord will get that under control eventually. The rest of the guys acted as they should as far as I could tell.

I have heard a lot of good things about Westview, so I'm going to go watch them soon. From what I have seen though, Dyer County is the favorite again.

I'm not surprised that you are saying these things being that you are from Dyersburg and all. It seems like the popular thing to do in Dyersburg is talk trash about Dyer County basketball. Face it, Dyersburg is not the dominant school in sports anymore. I can't stand all of the talk about recruiting. Have you ever thought that players want to come to Dyer County because it has an excellent fan base, great coach, great teammates, and the ability to win? Dyersburg has always said that they are the 'superior' school, but the past few years have proven otherwise. I don't know why you guys are like you are, but it is getting old.
