  1. Like the Tigers needed any bulletin board material anyway! Oh well, you spoke first. now get ready to back up your smack.
  2. Both are excellent defensive teams. Rockwood has too much size and depth for the Dawgs. Wartburg does have the advantage at guard play, excellent shooters. Should be a great game.
  3. Harriman lost to Webb ? Webb has no size at all, Devils must have been laying some bricks.
  4. Down the road Harriman will pay for this one.
  5. Just like last year, you guys need to play the game on the court. Example: CAK.
  6. I guess you forgot to mention CAK
  7. I would have to say Oakdale, Sunbright or Midway. How in the world did Midway get the Region trournament last year ?
  8. Rockwood or Cosby from class A. Both are excellent tournament teams.
  9. I love it, b-ball season hasn't started yet and already I hear how awesome the Devils are. Didn't we hear this last year?
  10. Wartburg by two TDs, please !!! Tigers have a stingy D. I'll admit that the Bulldogs have a tough team, but it's hard to judge them by who they've beaten. It's not there fault, you have to play those conty rivals. The Tigers will be ready by playing a tougher schedule and have been envoled in closer games. Don't get me wrong, it will be a tough game, but I think Rockwood has too strong an 0-line and running game for the DAWGS. Look for the DAWGS to get beat by the pass if they stack the line.
  11. Actually, not many Tiger errors. Harriman knocked the cover off the ball. Not sure what game you were watching or playing in. This is a team game, you win and lose as a team.
  12. Rockwood. One of the finest fields in East Tennessee.
  13. No one here in Tiger Country has given Cosby a lack of respect. If anything, it's the complete opposite. Your team has a very explosive offense and plays very fundamental defense. I hope these two meet again. Still awaiting a comment from Cosby's "friendly" jestures to the crowd after the game.
  14. Actually this is Matt G's DAD. I follow the program alot closer since I have a son playing. I will try to keep you out of towners up to date on the Tigers. This should be a great year, several starters, and key reserves return. Also, there are some talented Frosh incoming. Kingston and Harriman should have fine teams this year also. Several members of these three teams have played together during the past summers. They are all great kids. [Edited by stealth on 2-11-03 3:05P]
  15. Rockwood is currently 17-4. Tied with Harriman in the district. Remaining games are at Coalfield, Warrtburg at home and Cosby at home. Tigers should be angry after a Saturday loss at Oliver Springs. I feel sorry for Coalfield ! The Wartburg game will be a tough one. The Tigers won on last second free throws during the earlier game with the Bulldogs. Wartburg plays excelent defense, but I think the Tigers will have too much fire power. Cosby will be a tough one also. Cosby will bring a #5 ranking in A to the jungle but will leave with a loss.
  16. I agree that the OZ is a tough place to win. Too bad they can't win on the road. There student section really gets into the game. There very close to the floor. Kinda like a Duke atmosphere. I'd say the state tourney will be tougher though. We'll call you collect Bobcat fans and let ya know. We know you'll be home.
  17. Cosby will soon find out that Rockwood is a tough place to play.
  18. Any pics of you guys leaving Webb ?
  19. Very fundamental defensive team. Only two seniors,Gallaher and Dennis. Ofense is clicking when they get the ball inside to Davis, and Dennis. Gallaher is a streaky shooter, tough when he's hot. Needs to look inside a little more. I think they should post him up some. Reed is a good leader at point and a deadly three point shooter. Payne has really grown into an offensive threat. Goddard is strong on defense, probably the best free throw shooter. Richardson and Bowman are good post players off the bench. I would have to say that Harvest is playing the best right now. He is such a spark coming off the bench. Gallaher-Senior Dennis- Senior Reed- Junior Davis-Junior Richardson-Junior Harvest-Sophomore Payne-Sophomore Goddard-Sophomore Richardson-Junior Bowman
  20. Congrats to the Devils, they played a great game. Rockwood was out of sync on offense for the sixth game in a row. Harriman lives by the three and fortunately for them, they were falling the other night. If Rockwood gets the ball inside to Davis, Dennis, and Bowman next game, they can score all night. Harriman can't defend the post well. I would look at even posting up Gallaher. Getting three quick fouls on Payne (Harriman) is crucial. I'm sure these two teams will meet up in the district tourney again.
