When my son played at Cland. Some Hamptons kids were in Elizabethton talking to a Cloudland player asking if my son was in town acting like they wanted to fight him. Had it recorded. My son one of the nicest people in the world. Wife was happy but we didn’t say a word

I watched Hampton a few years back keep tackling a kid around the head and neck area driving him into the ground till they broke his collarbone. The Unaka QB getting hurt this year wasn’t just playing good hard nose football.

I listened to the York Radio guys last Friday. I enjoyed their commentary. Especially when York scored on how the one guy said touchdown which was a lot.

I have never said I don’t like Hampton. It’s like a Michigan fan pulling for Ohio State. You don’t see it happening I have always said Michael is a really good coach and has a good staff. I really hate what happened to the QB. It probably hurt more not having him on defense.

Not telling lies. I watched a routine tackle be celebrated like it was a game winning Super Bowl tackle. When you have the ball with 2 minutes and under left you don’t have to keep running plays after you have dominated a team. You can take 3 knees and call it a game. I often wonder how many coaches know that. Greenback did it the playoff game. Made me respect their coaching staff

The bigger classes in WNC aren’t great is what I was saying. AC Reynolds’s got beat pretty easy buy Hickory last night.

Not really AC Reynolds is really the only good team in that area even though West Henderson is having a good year. WH is the only bigger school still in the playoffs. The 1a schools are really good in the SMC. It does hurt Hampton with their schedule.

I have seen Hampton act the same way when they play teams they are a lot better than. It all depends on which side you are on when it happens.
