If Waverly had two more Standfield kids they would make a deep run this year. They are just too young in the secondary. MP had some athletes on Defense but they didnt do anything Offensively that Camden didn’t do.

I would love to see it but but if Mcewen don’t get healthy it going to be a long season.they only have a couple seniors. Really good looking young kids coming up.

Me too but they have numbers and some good backs. I work with a guy that’s son plays linebacker. I heard all week they would beat Fairview.

East Hickman also has the best team they have ever fielded.I expect them to have a good year. Loaded with seniors.

Mcewen looked better than I expected Friday. They are young with three seniors. I’m not used to seeing multiple formations and passing.

The truth is the program has took more steps forward the last few weeks than it did the last 10 years.

I agree 100% When Pullen got the job Nolan was done pretty dirty. I seen more adjustments and offensive formations last night than I ever have at a Mcewen game. It was time for a change.

I personally and everyone in Mcewen but about 5 or 6 people don’t care how he got the job. Should have been a coaching change years ago.

No he could not have kept his son on it in Summertown. If Mcewen would have had an opening last year he would have went then. .

Mcewen scrimmaged Wayne county this year and best the brakes off of them.

I watched them scrimmage Mcewen. If they haven’t improved McKenzie will have a running clock pretty quick.

Not that it mattered but Mcewen was missing half there Team in those games with injuries.

Mcewen won’t be able to shut teams down they will give up points. They will have to outscore Dresden to have a chance.

Tommy looked the healthiest I’ve seen him all year Friday night. Zero Limp and was cutting on it. Marcus Carter will be the fastest player on the field Friday night. He’s makes it hard on teams to key on Tommy. Shame he waited to his senior year to play. Mcewen had 8 starters out last year and no depth. This won’t be a cake walk for Dresden like they think. Mcewen eats a ton of clock with their offense

By the time Mcewen played Dresden last year they had lost so many players to injury they had to play Tommy Wills at QB and had zero depth. Mcewen had a lot of seniors come back that hasn’t played in a few years and probably the best Freshman and sophomore class I’ve seen in Mcewen. Mcewen struggled against Camdens pass without Tommy Wills at safety. I think Mcewen will be a better game than last year. They have a lot of size and better team speed than I have seen in years. I still think beating Dresden at their house will be a very big task.

If it went by stats alone Tommy Wills will be near the top and has been hurt since the first game.
