Tennessee Mavericks are no sleeper they are a very talented 16u team, beat Thunder in the Riverdale Tournament but I dont think that will happen again.

As I see the Thunder isnt getting the credit where the credit is due. You are basically saying that Thunder isn't that good. Well you cant say that because they beat the ballerz and as of right now they sit on top!!! Thunder is #1 right now until state that is how it stands!!! Hate it or love it!!! Go thunder!!!

I know the Franklin Rage have the kid named Derrick Anderson and he is pretty good and I hear that Josh Bone is playing wit the tigers.

True the Thunder won the 16 substate two wks ago and have been very impressive so far. This should be a good matchup

Who 16's are better Thunder's or the ballerz? I know the thunder 16's have a automatic bid to the 17 nationals.

Thunder is going to be loaded and are going to be top contenders for the trophy at this tourney. I hear the Stallions are good. Who do they have?

Zach will be a senior this upcoming year. And the two transfers are from East Lit. both are sophomores and one started a lot of games on varsity for East Lit. with that strong class of freshman they had that year. The other one got time but started to lose his time as the year progressed. And Goodpasture does lose some students I agree.

Goodpasture is done with the rebuilding process. The seniors that they lost this year weren't anything great. They are bringing the two transfers up this year. And the one freshman that was pretty good. Their junior class is loaded. They are going to be the strongest in the district due to the absence of MLK, DL. I think they will make it pretty far. They have CJ Davis, Zach Frey, Chris Buchannon. thumb

I am here to defend Zach Frey I watched the whole game and he only had 9 points in the 1st half. While his team was down by 24, they went in the locker room and gained some confidence and came out the 2nd half on fire. Frey ended up with 32 in the second half and to add that up that makes 41. Noel Smith is a great shooter he knows when to take over the game. He ended up with 43. Goodpasture lost by 1. So u can believe it Zach Frey had 41.

This should be a well played game on both well coached organizations but the Spartans have a lil more fire in there hearts this year after the quaterfinal loss to the burros last year in their state title run. They are returning a lot of their key starters and they will not give up!!! But I dont expect Cedric and the Vikings to give up either. I wish I could be there but I gotta make a trip to Houston Co. wit Goodpasture. I miss wearing the ORANGE and BLACK!!!!!!!! Go SPARTANS!!!!!!!!!!! SPARTAN FAMILY G.A.T.A.

Miles Asafo Adjei is a upcoming 8th grader and he is also one opf the best players in Metro and he should run any team he is on. He plays AAU for the Tennessee Tigers.

Stratfords orange jerseys and the black pants wit the S on the pants and helmet. Clarksville NW had sum decent uniforms this year. Whites Creek uniforms were sum SEWAGE!!!

The classic is for the the 3rd and 4th place teams out of each pool to get a chance for and automatic bid as well the top 4 teams in the classic get auotmatic bids to the 17u nationals the fololowing year. Thunder Gold 15u finished 3rd in the classic and 17th overall. GOOD JOB everybody on ur 16u circuit now its time for the 17u.

Memphis Magic had a great tournament. Elite did real well and so did Vintage Sports. All the other Tennessee teams had trouble adjusting to the competition of the other teams so GOOD JOB to everyone on their 15u circuit now its time for the 16u.

It was a interesting finish in the end it was: 1st Place Mottep Panthers 2nd Place Nashville Stallions 3rd Place Memphis Hoopsters 4th Place Franklin Rage 5th Place Thunder Gold (15u) 6th Place YAB Tigers Top 4 teams advance to the national tournament in Houston, TX. Thunder Gold(15u) lost to Mottep by six it was a good game. Despite being down by 14 at half Thunder made runs down the stretch.

Correction.... Both of the Thunder teams will be competing in the 16u state tournament. They are both playing and are giving off upsets.
