How are these teams looking this year? Who are your favorites to win and who are the underdogs?

It should be noted that Brittingham carried his team throughout the season. USN never would have made 7-10 against mba with him. I think he deserves 1st team.

I agree with the guy prior to me. Previous to the cbhs/fhs semi finals , usn beat fhs who beat cbhs who beat usn. They were all closely fought . It's hard to say whos the best but I'm feeling the comparison between the seemingly tie between the three top teams (even though McCallie finished 1st). Even though usn may of lacked in depth it only reveals their will to win against all odds. I think this disadvantage puts them slightly ahead of the other two but it is so very close.

PJPII and MTCS are still alive.

How do you think the DII Middle region will pan out? Seeds, etc. I know BA, Father Ryan and BGA are the top contenders, but do you think USN and PJII can pull off some upsets in the tourney?

its MBA V. USN. We are playing them in our last regular season tomorow (tuesday) and that will be a little preview of the quarterfinals.

last year there were two very good FOGO's on webb and USN. Ben Lundin was from USN and i dont know the name of webb's but they would battle every for the faceoffs, those are my picks. I dont know if Zac Cypress is good enough for best all time, but i thought i might throw his name out on attack.

USN is by far the best team in the state. They just kick booty.

i think the best junior in the state is Benjamin Shaffer from USN. ALthough only 5'7 what he lacks in reach and height he makes up for with intensity and intelligence. what a thug, holla. he's also got off the court if you know what i mean

University School of Nashville is by far the best team in the country. I saw them playing against MBA and they just kicked booty. WOW

they also forced us to play darlington in a double overtime right before we faced off against them. we had about 15 minutes between . If they had played us later in the season without a prior they would have had no chance. Also who are the grapski brothers you speak of, I've never heard of them.

How can you guys neglect to mention USN? They have beaten JPII (whom Father Ryan lost to) -- we'll see who the 3rd team will be out of DII Mid-state, but I think it will be USN, after they prove themselves in a crucial game tonight @ MBA (who is also contending for that spot)...

Who's goin to win, 'dem boys at Ryan or USN? I think USN is goin to come strong against 'dem boys at Ryan especially with big performances by Matt Addison and Darrell Hardin. What do ya'll think? It'll be a good game

BA lost King Dunlap. Their starting five isn't all back.

Where is Matt Addison from USN?! Averaged 23 pts. last year, top 10 in scoring and also is up there in rebounds. Certainly you cannot exclude Addison from the Senior top 25.

Haley Reibling averaged over 20 points a game last year and through 3 games is averaging over 32 points for an impressive USN girls team, she has over 1300 points in her high school career, she should be considered as one of the best

Upperman basically got killed by USN on Friday. Although the score was close, USN dominated on the boards and were up by 10 with a minute left. This game against Hume Fogg shouldn't be close, Hume Fogg should dominate if they can contain Lance Mathis. It will be a true barometer of USN's talent and whether or not that game on Friday was a fluke or not. Upperman does play dirty and Hume Fogg should watch out and not let them get into their heads. I predict Hume Fogg.
