Halls in fact might be the slowest team in the county.....for obvious reasons. But from what I have heard they (coaches) electronically time all the kids. This is the only way to accurately measure the 40 without having all these outrageous and inflated times. If you were to look at their times you would probably get the impression they were timing three toed sloths.

My heart is with Mo West, but my gut says Hillsboro in a close one. They might be a little too physical for Mo West. The absence of Bryant might make it a little more interesting.

I have alot of respect for Coach Young and the CAK program. They have shown an enormous amount of guts and determination this year. I think the cards are more so stacked against them this week then any other. It all comes to an end Friday, Boyd will walk the dog on them.

It makes me giggle to see how these middle aged "glory days" men (mhs, rebelron, & starsnbars) have nothing else better to do with their time besides sit at thier computer and defend the MHS program. Don't be so gullible Mcfly. It is way too easy to get a reaction out of you schleps.

I don't care how many athletes Carter has this year. If Halls controls the line of scrimmage offensively and keeps Carter's quarterback in the pocket then I think they have a chance. I think Stanton is more effective when he throws on the run opposed to setting up in the pocket. Halls needs to come out and hit them in the mouth and make them like it. Keep the Carter offense off the field.

This is the most athletes Carter has had on the field in a while. It seems to me that a lot of their talent was under used this year. You have to put athletes in position to make plays. Why wasn't their personnel used more efficiently? I'm sure there are more factors involved than I know about. This is just the perspective of an outsider looking in. A drop in classification may be what they need to enjoy some success.

Roadrunner, Be very careful when you criticize the maryville program. I personally know posters who are now no longer welcome on this site due to their posts on maryville threads.

Halls is going to be out-athleted in their next 2 games. That brings it down to which coaching staff does the best job and who else would you rather have in your corner than Coach Sheppard?

Unfortunately, being in all the games doesn't put you in the playoffs. This isn't junior pro where everyone gets a trophy for participation and goes home happy. Moral victories will get you places 5-7 in region 3-4A!

Central shouldn't have a problem with Maryville. Looking at maryville's results this year, I'd say they're a little overrated. Maryville should practice this week by reading the back of C. Jackson's jersey.
