Come on guys, DII team consistantly beat 4A and 5A teams. The competeition in the elite 8 is by far the hardest in the state. More DI prospects come out of the elite 8 than any other in the state, and there are only eight teams. That says something. For you OWL fans, you need to get your head out of you butt and stop living in denial. You know McCallie and Baylor would work you and you cant handle it.

CBHS gets the chokers award, they let Baylor beat them. That is pathetic. Now all the cocky CBHS fans can shut up and realize they choke in baseball and football every year!

Definatly McCallie and Baylor. I live in Nashville and went to visit my friend and watch his son. They play at UT Chattanooga's stadium and the croud last year was about 13,000. Now MBA Brentwood Acadamy I think is the next biggest rivaly, but they dont have near the croud. Also Baylor and McCallie had huge police escourted caravans over to the stadium. It was a site to see.

McCallie will be a surprise. I saw them last week and their defense is very good. They have a sophmore starting at quarterback I think. They did lose some big time players on offense such as Ryan Moore and Ryan Murphy. Murphy had 1,000 yds recieving way more than half of Moore's total passing yards. However McCallie has three GOOD looking recievers this year as well as two talented running backs. The quarterback is athletic and has a good arm and makes some dumb mistakes. There D-end/T-end is a monster. I heard he has had 10 scholarship offers already from major DI schools.

I pick McCallie in a close one I think. LFO is good though.

Mccallie beat Boyd 28-7 thats all I have to say.

Farragut would win hands down. Walker Valley is way overrated!!! Sorry but it is true. They are a good team but they are not as good as their record shows.

I think the player of the year should be Stansell, Murphy, or Wilkes. Murphy is underated. He is batting .430 with 14 doubles or something like that. He got clocked at a 3.8 down to first from the right side. That is flying. Stansell is a good hitter but makes A LOT of errors. He is fast too, but not 3.8 fast. I dont like McCallie or Bayor that much but I got to call it like I see it. Wilkes is just a good all around player. He hits 94 and on the gun and has a good bat as well. What else do you need.

Baylor did not play well if they only got 3 runs against Boyd!!!!!!!

Walker Valley playes nobody. The are not as good as they say. Let them play Christian Brothers, McCallie, Farragut, Oakland. They would get beat by all of those teams no questions asked.

Farragut, ECS, Baylor (i think), McCallie, Riverdale, and there are a few others i just dont know. Riverdale, Farragut and McCallie-one of those three will be in the finals

I saw a post earlier about Ryan Moore and pitching. The past couple of years he has relyed on his fastball to to try and overpower people and it has gotten him in trouble. However I have seen him pitch and was impressed with his curveball and change up that he has developed. When I saw him he was averaging 88-89 with his fastball in a 20 mph wind and it was COLD. But you never know we will have to wait and see with him.

mccallie beat cleveland in a scrimmage this year already. Mccallie and Baylor are the best teams in Chattanooga no questions asked.

I cant belive you guys havent mentioned the mccallie and baylor matchup. have you ever been to one of those games. it is crazy. they play at finley stadium and have like 20,000 people there. you guys need to get out.
