Congrats to the Red Hawks on their win tonite over Loretto.Britney Caldwell pitched an awesome game and had a 2 run homer.must have felt like deja vu since the exact same thing happened last year.Teale Wall stepped up big as a senior with her hits and great catches in the outfield.Loretto was aggressive at the plate and had one of the best catchers around.

10AA does not have an all-tournament team either.don't know why.

Has anyone run across the East Cobb Bullets in all their tourney travels?What kind of team do they seem to be?Played in the Colorado Fireworks and Southeastern Dynamite in South Carolina last summer.Any Nighthawk or Edge people run into them?

CW will also be returning their starting pitching staff next year. The district should be tough all around next year.

Congratulations Red Hawks on being District 10AA Champs.Finally able to complete a tournament without getting rained out.Guess next year our critics will have to find another excuse why we won.Congrats to 10AA MVP Lacey Keatts and the Rebels for making it to regionals.Also a big congrats to seniors Katie Murphy ,Teale Wall and juniors Britney Caldwell,Autumn Sensing,Whitney Batey and Laura Jeppsen for making the 10AA All-District team for 2005.The Red Hawks will miss their 2 seniors next year. thumb thumb thumb

Creek Wood defeated Stewart Co. 3-0 tonite to win the 10AA championship.That makes them undefeated in district play for the season.Finally got to finish the tournament as it has been rained out the last 2 years.Hopefully they will carry some momentum into the region next week.congrats to Stewart co. and 10AA MVP Lacey Keatts on also getting to regionals.

Great game for the Lady Cougars who have really rallied after the loss of their ace Ashley Myatt.Senior Lacey McDonough and freshman Stacey Dampf have done a tremendous job on the hill.Look out for Stacey next season.With her great speed and a little more confidence she will be awesome.

True come district time everything is wide open and anything can happen.Tigerette neglected to mention that CW beat Waverly by a pretty good margin the first time.Beat SC 5-0 once and by 1 once.Those games are close because of of college signee Lacey Keatts.CW had their own slump the other nite against Waverly,but came out to get 12 hits against Sycamore last nite.Waverly always has a good hitting team and did a good job beating Stewart Co.Should be a good game to watch Monday nite at the Hawk's nest.

Has anyone got any scoop on Kim Dunlap no longer teaching at Club K?Everyone is being very close mouthed about it which of course just makes people want to know even more.Lot of girls will miss her.

What happened to Harpeth?I heard that Paige did not pitch.Is she injured?Not knocking Sycamore's win,just curious about the circumstances.

ERA is correct.the 04 was very hot and if anyone knows where I can get another 33" holler at me.I have only seen one 05 that seemed hot and it does not belong to our team otherwise the 05 seems to be duds.Easton bats are usually good year in and year out.

What happened to Sam Watts with Sycamore?looked like her foot was in a boot last nite.If she is out for the season that is a big loss for the War Eagles,although that team seems to have lots of talent with Coty,Peanut and the young lefty.

Congrats to Red Hawks on taking first for the regular season.however the girls seem to be taking things for granted and not hitting well as a team anymore.At the beginning to the mid season the team was hitting well top to bottom.now the hits are sporadic and the hot bat changes from game to game.and they were playing better teams at the beginning of the season.as shut up and play said "Champions are never satisfied".what about it girls are you or aren't you?

think they are talking about Goodpasture.don't know if they do or don't.
