Doesn’t Soddy have 2 coming back from that same Tulsa Nationals with being AA’s? As far as they won the last dual match, yep that happened, but why didn’t they take Rex up on the offer to sign a home and away for the foreseeable future so they could prove they were the best? also is Cooper originally from Cleveland? That was a question that wasn’t answered and the being 20 was a joke so hopefully I didn’t offend with that, he’s just been a stud for so long it seems he’s been around for 16 years as a top prospect, but is he originally from Cleveland because I swear he was from East TN? And yes the same could be said with it going wrong with Baylor also, HOWEVER since you can’t make up a IF scenario you have to go head 2 head and with that Cleveland most likely wins this match. Would be a fun matchup for sure, I think if the agreement would have taken place when Rex offered it would have been at Baylor this year, but alas it’s not going to happen. Also, again I dislike private schools, heck they have 2 of my favorites wrestling at McCallie right now instead of 1 starting at Soddy and the other being there next year, would have been great to have had them on Soddy’s team to make them even tougher but crap happens and people make the choice they think is best for their kid.

But again that’s the thing, you can’t move people around in a made up scenario! You run it straight up because you have no idea WHO has the ability to move people where! If Cleveland has to run out someone against anyone when they have to send out first that sets a lot of their lineups! Not sure if you have ever done it but you can have the best laid plans ever and they can quickly go out the window when the flip is done. Been there done it and seen it. I mean if the fowlers get set and have to wrestle where they are, Baylor at that point can move one of their hammers around to get pins elsewhere. Plus do you have any idea the backups at ANY of Baylors positions? also no crying about recruiting! I’ve seen wrestlers that “moved” into Cleveland and it’s because they got jobs working for companies owned by either Jones himself or fellow Cleveland alumni, all schools do recruiting so it’s a crap out to use! If you want to run your mouth out about you can beat them, you can’t come back with excuses of why it didn’t happen! Also where is Cooper Hilton originally from? Pretty sure it’s not originally Cleveland, he went there for Boom Ranch did he not? And good lord he’s been around forever, is he like 20 years old?

I’ve seen some of those 3 backups at those 3 weights and yeah, if you think they are all starters at most places that are pretty good teams I don’t know what to tell you! Anyone can go and look at their records in track and those kids can do great work against teams that aren’t all that good and their varsity isn’t that good, they would have trouble against actual good teams with good varsity wrestlers at those weights! There is some depth for sure there, but most good teams have that and I’m sure I could do some more looking at Baylor and some of their kids that wrestle as backup varsity and see if they have any. But again I’ve seen that bite many teams in the #### through 25-30 years! They think some backup can come in there and either win or not get pinned and they come out, get stuck and they are left scrambling to make up for something they prob would have been better just wrestling straight up. Just like with Trey stating Cleveland would get a pin at 215, the best varsity kid from Cleveland got teched pretty quickly while the kid from Baylor got beat by same Father Ryan kid 3-2. I was giving that a decision I think and it actually could turn out to be a pin or tech for Baylor. They finally got their football guys back since they actually did something in the playoffs and it’s finally made their team full strength.

All schools have ability to move, not just Cleveland AND it also depends on how the flip goes for who sends out first or not. So me nor you have ANY idea what all changes can or will happen without all those facts. So at this point you have to go head to head with established lineups since the coin flip would make a big difference as well as what weight they start at!

It would be a fun time to see them face each other in a dual for sure! Sadly it will be just like the deal with wanting to see the best of the best against each other in TN or the best of GA vs best of TN, never going to happen. I remember those Collins Hill teams back in the day, they were a juggernaut.

So it’s funny you all DUCKED Baylor years ago and they came to your duals but when you decided not to sign the H&A they quit coming to the Cleveland duals and won’t schedule you! He has every right to do that since Joey and you all only want it your way, heck this isn’t Burger King!

This is why it’s funny that Cleveland has to circle jerk the wagons as they do, people are getting to the point of hating them because everything has to be done their way! Yep, they came and you little pus wouldn’t travel to Baylor to wrestle a duals but yet want them to come to you! It’s always been that way, unless it’s a district dual you don’t want to travel to other schools to wrestle. In districts you don’t have as much choice, the rest you do and your choice has always been your own ego and people should come to you!

This is what I was told which is what I said all along, Cleveland looks like the little ###### they are because they only want things done their way and that’s it! Baylor went to Cleveland duals at one time and Cleveland never would go to Baylor to wrestle. The coaches world is a back scratch world. You come to me and I’ll come to you and we should both be able to make a little money and also provide some good wrestling. Cleveland hasn’t been about that at all, they want everything at the Jones center so they can take the money and screw heading somewhere they don’t want to be!

Yes it is AND considering Joey only offered to setup a full dual tournament with others the first time he offered and it be at THE JONES center just like I said it was and not at Baylor, he’s been made a fool of again! Plus what else was posted when Rex offered Cleveland a deal to sign for a very long time with a home and away series and Joey Knox said no! Ummm, the lady in charge of the foundation that is the number 1 donor per HCWC own filings(so if they are lying it would be fraud) is good friends with Allan and he donates a huge amount of money to that foundation, so I’d be willing to bet he also has say in where they donate their money. heck it’s not hard to look up and I don’t have a degree in accounting but it’s pretty easy to connect dots! Again very easy to connect dots. Also I haven’t gotten to look at ton, but it shows no full time employees of HCWC but shows coaches pay at 17,000 plus. I wonder how many other wrestling clubs pay that much for coaches? I guess I’ll have to go look it up, because I would bet not many pay that.

Piper is so dang impressive, no joke to be Number 2 P4P in the country when the only girl ahead of you is a 3 time world medal winner with a bronze in U17 and 2 silvers at U20. Can’t wait to see what her future holds, impressive young lady! Congrats to all the other ladies who are ranked and doing well!
