  1. You could be a man and just say it instead of playing your childish games.
  2. Using the term "men" loosely I see. Notice that almost all the Cleveland people have made clear who they are. You can't even stand behind the crap you spew on this forum.
  3. For f**ks sake, how about all you beta males hiding behind usernames just come out and say who you are.
  4. I saw that. Although I will say Rincon hasn't looked the same since her arm's been hurt.
  5. At 120 this past weekend, Ava Johnson pinned Nataleigh Shane. Maybe Shane was having a bad day, but that could be a weight to watch.
  6. Captain's posts are somehow the most on topic AND least helpful comments on this thread. I don't know how it's possible.
  7. I'm fairly convinced at this point that CaptainGuru is a bot.
  8. Based on how I'm reading it, she'd still be seeded lower. I don't see any mention of H2H results and I think I remember someone saying that state champs get preference. I'm not positive though.
  9. I'm less familiar than some others about the TSSAA seeding rules, but is head to head even considered? I don't see anything about it. Also, is the girl that won the H2H this year a previous state placer? Per the rules you posted: "In order to be placed, a wrestler must be a sectional champion and must have been a state place finisher during her high school career." If not a state placer, then she'll just get the blind draw.
  10. I'd argue that girls can't really be compared to boys in a P4P debate. Kind of like comparing HS to youth. It's just a different class entirely. As far as Piper taking on the top guys in the state, I'd put my money on the guys. Piper is stronger and better than any girl I've ever seen, but high school males, especially the top wrestlers, are orders of magnitude stronger. That's not to say that she can't win, but I think she'd be the underdog.
  11. You're taking the "outwork everyone" thing too personally. It's a club motto - a battle cry for the kids to give their best. It's a point of pride for the kids that do put in their best effort to have those words on their shirt. I don't think the coaches or most of the parents truly believe that Cleveland's work ethic is unmatched anywhere in the world. I can tell you I've been in rooms that consistently go harder than Cleveland, but there's more to success than just going hard every day. When I was in VA Beach last year, wearing my "outwork everyone" shirt, I ran into another guy from a different state that had the same thing on his shirt. Should I have punched him in the face and ripped the shirt off his back? Doesn't he know that WE outwork everyone? No. We introduced ourselves, complimented the shirts, and wished each other luck. Because we're not idiots. I'm not going to post anymore about this because I have more important things to do. I wish all your clubs luck and genuinely hope we lose the state title soon. Nothing feeds the beast like the hunger of 2nd place.
  12. Agree, but he isn't even in this thread. This is a new one started to complain about Cleveland. Regardless, I'm talking about more than just this forum. The infighting in TN is hamstringing everyone's progress. I noticed it from the time we arrived. This forum over the last couple of days is just a particularly bad example of the bigger problem.
  13. Guys, come on. This isn't productive. I know everyone is all sore over the other thread, but let's keep the toxic waste to that conversation so the rest of us can ignore it. It doesn't help anything to disparage other programs, especially in your own state. We moved here from WA a few years ago (nobody recruited us) and TN sure seems to be shooting itself in the foot with all this infighting. It's worse here than it was back in WA and I was deep in that community for many years. In my view, TN is starting to make a name for itself on the national scene, but we'll never put together anything that matters if everyone can't let go of their little beefs and gripes.
  14. National Girls High School Team Rankings Congratulations to Cleveland (5) and Clarksville (36) for making the top 40. Montgomery Central and Northwest also received honorable mention. National Girls High School Rankings for January Congratulations to Piper Fowler. #1 at 170 lbs, #1 P4P for class of 2025, and #2 P4P at any age. Truly impressive. 100 lbs (24) - Ryleigh Sturgill, freshman, Baylor School (26) - Vivian Mariscal, senior, John Overton High School 110 lbs (15) - Senna Grassman, sophomore, Cleveland High School 125 lbs (29) - Mariana Bowen, sophomore, West Creek High School 140 lbs (27) - Audrey Levendusky, sophomore, Montgomery Central High School 170 lbs (1) - Piper Fowler, junior, Cleveland High School 190 lbs (16) - Ella Murphey, senior, Harden Valley High School (18) - Irelynn Laurin, sophomore, Rossview High School 235 lbs (29) - Shaniayha Wysinger, senior, Clarksville High School
  15. I hope kids are finding a way to make the most of these days. It's times like this that separate the champs from the rest of the pack. When everything is closed and your coach isn't telling you to be anywhere, do you get a workout in regardless? I get excited about these opportunities because it's a chance to gap the rest of the crowd.
