  1. District 12 A Perry Co 13 Wayne Co 2 Clifton 12 Zion 9.
  2. Perry Co. 13 Wayne Co. 2. Matt Marrs pitched a great game one of the best I have seen all year. Freshman Chris Graham went 4 for 4 with 3 doubles 3 RBI, great game by all PC boys.
  3. Yes ca lost to perry co 5-4.
  4. I think the Nashville ABC privates see the light. Now if the rest of the privates do the same, then they can recruit as they have been doing without having to hide it. Then the public wont have to yell as much about the cheating { I think you call it whining, I call it wanting a level playing field.}
  5. Listen to Charlie all privates go to DII, it will end all of these debates. Good luck. End of story.
  6. Not sure if they voted not to split because they were told to do so, but 1A did not have any represintives voting for them.
  7. Im sorry Ego if Ive ruffled your feathers but yes thats all im interested in because my son plays in a region with four of the "non recruting privates". I understand that using a multiplier will only move the problem up. That why i was for the split. I know the privates recruit, I cant prove it, you know the privates recruit but you will not help prove it, Ronnie Carter knows they recruit but he does not care. Because he is following the money. In case VG reads this get a big glass of that fountain of smart.
  8. It is not stupid, none of the teams you mentioned are in 1A. Im talkin about the schools that are opened zoned in 1A. Thank You.
  9. I do not care how much money you make, were your kids go to school at. But, when schools like JCS and USJ get more than 20% of their athletes out of county, it presents a problem to the rural public schools. Not saying there's anything wrong with going to a private school, but we do not have the power to attract athletes like a private school.
  10. If they do not use the multiplier the Va plan will not help with the problem.
  11. Are any of the open zoned schools from Memphis, knoxville.& chattanooga in 1-A?
  12. Did they tell Runny Carter how they wanted the vote to go?
  13. Great article by the The Sun. I agree w/ Mr. Luker's comments, they were my fellings also. A question I asked a month back about students living outside Madison County, attending private schools and was told that almost all students live inside the county. The article said 25% of the JCS and 19+ USJ athletes live outside the county. I talked to a football booster president from a neighboring county, he said they recruit their best athletes, but he could not prove it. I vote for a total split.
  14. How many of usj football players live in Madison county? Is it true that they run a bus to pick up student players at Brownsville, Bolivar, Milan, Humbolt, Lexington, Huntingdon, and other area towns? If so what is fair about that? Public schools cant go across their county lines with buses.
  15. I know this is not a football topic but I-40 East and West bound will be down to one lane, between exits 188 and 192 from 7 P.M. thrus. through 5 A.M. Tues. for the next six weeks. Hope this helps someone get the game on time.
  16. My son plays for Perry Co. I am going for the VIKINGS. My perdictions VIKINGS 28 WEST CARROL 14 . GO VIKINGS. PLAY HARD , PLAY SMART .
