BA beat MBA in the semi's in '95 and in the quarters in '96. Maybe the two best teams in the state those years.

CPA is better than East Robertson. The winner of CPA vs. Goodpasture wins that region with the DCA vs. Ezell winner 3rd and the loser 4th. East Robertson will not make the play-offs.

MBA beat them in the finals in 2003.

BA has a great basketball team. Great players and great coaches. MBA, obviously is down in basketball this year (and last year). They have, however, had success in the past with State Championships in 1997, 2000, 2001.

I can only think of two players in the history of DCA and Ezell that have gone to play SEC ball. MJ Garrett and Erik Davis. 3-4 a year, check the facts.

I will never forget about how Coach Moore was treated...no one at MBA will. I am still hot about it. Wes, give me a break, about students taunting. The holier than though attitude from a lot of BA people I know makes me want to puke. This was a great win by MBA.

MBA made a statement tonight. They never had to punt in a dominating route of BA. Congrats to the seniors and to the entire team. That's 5 state championships in the past 6 years.

BA '95 baely beat CLarksville NE 7-3 in the quarters and they were down 10-7 going into the 4th vs MBA in the semis that year. In '96 BA beat MBA in 2 OT's. If those BA teams are mentioned, then these others must not be far behind. Most of the other great teams on this tread were never tested.

The 1999 MBA team was better than all these teams.

People I have talked to, with an unbiased opinion seem to say that this was an obvious mistake. Those not associated with either school, what are your thoughts?

I have been talking to people at the game and they say this ending is a disgrace. The clock was obviously at 0 and the kicking team was not set.

Max was a great football player, one of the best ever at MBA, but never started at QB for MBA. He did play QB at times for the Big Red. He set many records for Sewannee at QB, though.

When the current seniors were 9th graders, MBA beat them 34-6. Hillsboro scored on the last play of the game on MBA's 3rd team. MBA could've put any score they wanted to on the scoreboard that day.

I remember hearing about that incident (Simmons in '99). The people I know in attendance said that they were fairly certain the kid was dead after the shot...let's get 'em tonight! ps, Dan, are you the Dan involved in a certain big game in the sunshine state tomorrow? if so good luck... ....still soaked from Doak, but enjoyed every second....Simmons would never play dirty, his siblings wouldn't tolerate it....Great job in Memphis!!
