  1. Odds are that you are biased!
  2. Powell's Prime Time Player verbally commits to UTC! Ogan looks to revitalize the post as Chattanooga loses two in the front court after the 2004-2005 campaign, Patton and Sermons! She is the third committment (Nancy Moore and Ashley Huff). Looks like another great class for the UTC Lady Mocs!
  3. Well, 8-AAA and 7-AA do have like all of the titles in the last couple of years.
  4. She plays basketball all the time also! If she takes a little time off for it, this region better watch out! Holla!
  5. Lipscomb and Hume Fogg will have to prove themselves first. District 7-AA will be determined by coaching, but I'd stay with JC and Livingston Academy due to the fact that they are proven! It will be fun to see how it plays out though!
  6. Reclassification will have them AAA next year, but for now maybe they can advance to state because it's going to get alot harder going through 8-AAA!
  7. Greeneville vs. Powell first round...then Wilson Central in the second round coming off a bye. hahahahahahahahahahahah!
  8. Bradley Central's Aaron Baird ran a 3 miler in 14:54, he won two region championships and was all-state his junior and senior year. Signed with Louisville

  11. Bradley has been outscored 218-8 in four games. I'm glad Bennie is in the stands cause he could put a aweful lot of points on the board like he did in 1991 (75-8). This season is going to be a long one for BCHS! Cleveland rolls with quickness 42-6
  12. Bradley Central High School will be hosting a Girls Basketball JV Play day on November 6th. Smaller school varsity teams are urged to attend also. Play-day field is limited! Contact Brian Glasner @ 423-476-0697 or Erick Baird @ 423-356-7216 or erick-baird@utc.edu

  14. Well Beechboard called Coach Moore and told him that the state pagent was on Jan 18th. Well there is a home game that day. No way No how she was going to be able to attend that pagent. Well she backed out, Moore left the door open for next. I think she has no chance of winning, well a chance but I'm giving odds. She just doesn't seem the pagent type, especially after seeing my buddy with her on Freshman Friday. Anyway, you can expect to see her at Western Carolina or UTC next fall due to the fact that she has basketball in her blood and once she sees that all that hard work she put in the sport is not worth the NAIA tournament..it's worth the Big Dance. She is just too good a player to end up at a small school in West Tennessee. Just my opinion about the future of the tale of Katrina Beechboard.
  15. You guys sure do overanalyze stuff!
  16. Smith will not even get outta the region semi-finals!
  17. Better win your region because you will not win at Walker Valley!
  18. Predictions down to the point! Smith County State Champs...I think not!
  19. I wonder how you did in those games.
  20. Go ahead and send the trophy for AAA to Cait McMahon. The press will really boost her across the state because of the voting process. AA I'm thinking that Brandi Brown from York will be one of my front runners. A no idea but there is a pretty good girl at chattanooga Christian that is primed to shine!
  21. We don't start practice till November 1st. that is about 60+ days away.
  22. Did the little guard that is from Kentucky transfer to Jackson County? She played on the 15 and under national championship Shelbyville sportsshop team. It was a rumor that she is headed to Tennessee to play. Man, that girl can handle the ball. Just wondering during this long break.
  23. Clark is a fine tuned machine! She will be a force to be reckoned with this year!
  24. Are you required to get released by the school you signed your letter of intent with to obtain a scholarship from a lower division school? If you don't get released by th university then you lose a year of eligibility!
  25. Livingston star backs out on UTC Beechboard refuses to talk about decision By Brad Shepard Staff Writer One of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s top women’s basketball recruits has backed out on her letter of intent. Katrina Beechboard, a 5-foot-11 wing from Livingston (Tenn.) Academy who figured to get into the Lady Mocs’ playing rotation immediately, called UTC coach Wes Moore this week and informed him she wasn’t coming to Chattanooga. Wednesday, she confirmed the decision but refused to elaborate. "It’s for sure, I’m not coming," she said when reached at her home. "I really don’t want to say anything else right now." Beechboard was chosen the Tennessee 2004 Miss Basketball for Class AA in a year when she led Livingston to a state title by averaging 18.5 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. She was a finalist for the award as a junior, when she averaged 19.1 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. "I know she won a county beauty pageant recently and is supposed to be in a state pageant, and I think that’s made her wonder how much time and effort she wants to put into basketball," Moore said. "I don’t know if that’s the main reason. "I think she’s considering going to a level where the demands and goals are a little different." Beechboard recently visited Freed-Hardeman, an NAIA school in Henderson, Tenn. Moore said he speculated she’d go to an NAIA school. The loss of one of the Lady Mocs’ best signees will affect the way Moore recruits this season. He said he most likely will look to recruit another small forward and move another player in this year’s class, Alex Anderson, from the power forward to the wing. "I still feel good about what we have," Moore said. "Alex had a great summer, and I’m very excited about her. This year, we’ll probably put more emphasis on a 3 player." Moore was disappointed in Beechboard’s decision and he said he’d "leave the door open for her." But if her commitment to basketball is in question, Moore said, he couldn’t argue with her decision not to come to UTC. "We can’t compromise the work ethic on this level," he said. "We’ll be playing Tennessee and Auburn. I’m not going to cheat the rest of our players committed to working on the highest level." E-mail Brad Shepard at bshepard@timesfreepress.com
