Let me clear some things up for you guys. The school board chair is on the sidelines because his son plays on the team and he has been the team doctor since football began at AC. As for Kerr's contract, he lost that lawsuit over the contract and doesn't make any more money than the Clinton coach if he had the same amount of years in as Kerr. Don't blame AC for your problems. We just happen to have a community who supports it's coaches and backs the players on the field.

Before you blame officiating watch the film. On the reverse that was called back, Kingston's receiver tackles the free safety. As for stepping out of bounds, never happened. AC escaped with a win against a very good football team. If #34 would have been healthy, Kingston would not have dropped all those other games. As for Fulton -AC, expect a better performance from the MAVS. It's payback time.

Mike is one of the most overrated coaches in the state. Without the guidance of Kerr, he couldn't call a first down. Just kiddin Wamp, It ain't going to be the same around here without you. Good luck!

coach mitchell and the redskins are playing extremely well.. his cast of playersare very solid...austin east beat loudon last year in the region semis by 5.. much closer than that.. moss is the best player in the area and hall not far behind..then shooters like giles and curtis.... props to coach mitchell and the redskins,the district should be an easy one, region tougher. keep it up

Superbeast, good to see that you and Coach Flatford have mended whatever problems there were over the summer. You are an outstanding player and he's a great coach. Good luck with your season......

There is a lot of talent on this team, as always, but the Admirals are perennial underachievers. spoiled.......

AE was simply not that good this year. I believe Seymour has a chance, but they cannot make any mistakes if they are going to make this a game.

AE WAS INFERIOR!

Captain, you must not be a very good reader. I did show respect for Stevens in the fact that he does have disipline. By inferior, I meant as far as Fulton is concerned. Fulton has better athletes this year. Can AE beat them? Probably! Because Buck Coatney is an inferior coach. As for the entire region, AC probably is the least amount of talent, but they will be the ones who advance to round four because they will outplay and outcoach either of these schools.

I don't think it's fans that are the problem at Fulton. After last year's come from behind victory, AC over Fulton, the Fulton players broke out a window in the dressing room. This year, after Fulton UPSET AC in 2 OT's it was again some of the players showing poor sportsmanship. Granted it was mostly backups as Minor, Pannell, and Whetsel were all humble in victory. What really bothers me is what happened at the locker rooms. While Buck and company were on the field celebrating, Fulton players stood at the locker room and cussed our players, coaches and fans and there was no supervision from any Fulton coach. AC won't forget we just hope Buck doesn't blow another good chance by losing to an inferior AE team in round two. As for AE, we have never experienced anything like that from their program. I am not a fan of Stevens, but he has disipline and his kids behave the way winners should. Maybe this is the problem that has kept Fulton out of contention.

You cannot be serious about AE's Def. Cor. Anyone could coach that defense. Put 11 guys who all run under 4.6 40's and my infant daughter could coach them. I don't want to hear about how good thier coaches are anymore. Stanton's let everyone know how good he thinks he is. The bottom line is, if my 11 are better than your 11, 9 times out of 10 i'll beat you. That's what AE did last year. I promise it wasn't coaching. Anyone can line up shotgun five wide and throw hail mary's and beat people if they have the best athletes. The problem is, this year they don't and Fulton will handle them easy in the second round. Good luck to that Def. Cord., but I've seen nothing on film that seperates him from the better, more experienced coaches in this region.
