Wow someone cant read..i said not to sound sour bud..i said that pf got beat.. didnt put their hits tongether and elizabethon did...and correct me if i'm wrong but i didnt hear anyone complaining about the game in bball..they just plain out got beat..didnt show up to play and they know it. and actually crow hopping is an illegal pitch.

Shocking but true...PF got beat today by Elizabethon.. 1 earned run the rest just errors on PF's part...some bad calls but none that cost them the game..just didnt string the hits together tonight..oh well time to start preparing for next year. we get all starters back except a DP but we should be ok...and oh yea...crow hopping is illegal. (not to sound sour. just a fact.)

Congrats to both Pigeon Forge and Rutlede who are on their way to the Region tourney. Pigeon Forge won the District Championship, defeating Rutledge 6-1. Rutledge will play Unicoi and Pigeon Forge will play Elizabethton. Good Luck District 2AA.

PF beat Rutledge tonight so Rutledge will play the winner of the CD-SG game and then the winner of that will face PF for the championship. Could be both Pigeon Forge and Rutledge teams headed to the region in district 2AA softball and baseball.

Can't wait till tomorrow! Good Luck to Rutledge as well as PF. Is 25's knee ok? Someone said she may have hurt it in the opening game of the tourney at PF but no signs of it last night in the games against PF or South Greene.

Yep, it really shows that the girls have been working hard..luckily we have a nice group of freshman coming up and we return all 9 starters. I wish Rutledge the best of luck in the tounament as their girls were the ones with the best attitudes this year when we played them. Hope to see ya in PF and if not cya next year in bball.

Yea, that stinks (about the draw)..but hey we're both teams that have obviously worked very hard over the summer towards this year that deserve the co-championship for the regular season..but...we (PF) still have a test at West Greene on Tuesday...hey kev..will you be making the trip to PF for some of the tourney games?

Pigeon Forge and West Greene game rained out. Rescheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday, April 14) Same time same place. Also the Pigeon Forge and Chucky Doak double header was rained out Monday. I haven't heard anything on the new date.

What is the talk of masks for 3rd basemans? I have never seen these and I have played 3rd the past two years... I personally wouldnt want to wear one of these things. I have had some pretty hard shots at me this year but luckily have knocked all of them down. It is a good safety thing but I would rather not wear one. What do all you other 3rd basemans say?

Pigeon Forge and Rutledge split a double header Thursday night. Rutledge took the first game 1-0 in the top of the seventh and Pigeon Forge got the win in the second game with a score of 11-5 scoring six runs in the 2nd inning.

Casey is a very good ball player. I see where Kev is coming from and I am not even from Rutledge I've just seen them play. Obviously you... (22hoops) may be a bit jealous of Casey. In fact, most teams DO have a go to player. Not saying that individual is the whole team but when someone needs to step up and score they look to them...Heather B. at CD, Ford at West Greene, Brooke Waddel at South Greene, Newman at Pf.....Hmmm....SINGELTON at Rutledge. Just some observations but give this girl credit she does have talent and has excellent size for a guard.

Believe what you want. My best friend played on that AAU team with Melissa and me and my mother went to watch them play. But believe me or not. Everyone knows they recruit. Deny it all you want. And as I stated... I have alot of respect for coach Prudden. She is a very good coach!...by the way..Mel didnt tell me herself but she has told others about it. Someone people actually tell..I know VERY interesting.. but everyone knows they recruit...doesnt work sometimes though Just drop it..this thread is about the best recruiter in the state not the second best.

No actually... I WAS there and I did hear Coach Prudden tell Melissa that they would really like to have her there and she was sure they could work something out. Dont get me wrong I have alot of respect for Coach Prudden. She is a very good coach. But win with what you have dont go fishing for someone else's talent.
