  1. Sure he is playing. Do you think he would miss an important game like this? He is a little tougher than most that will be playing tonight(if you know what I mean). If all guns are blazing for both teams it will be a very close game. Pickett by 5 or less PCHS-75 RBS-72
  2. What do they have to look ahead to? A Headyless team and a one legged Meador. The Bulldogs don't have a chance at Pickett. The district title will be wrapped up on friday night.
  3. RBS and Friendship play tonight in Lebanon. How does everyone think it will turn out? What is the status of Meador and Heady, and will they play and how much?
  4. How long have you followed ClayCo.(Celina) basketball? Keeping in the starters in a blowout is vintage Sims. Some day it will come back to haunt him, when one of his starters is injured. On the otherhand, he has been successful doing this and I guess you can't argue with success.
  5. What grade did Stinson Come to Macon Co.? Another rumor has him transfering to RBS. I know RBS has lost some athletes to Macon Co over the years . but will this be a first loss for Macon to RBS.
  6. Let's not forget Frazier from Clay Co. and England from RBS. they Both contribute alot to their teams success. While we are on the subject, who deserves coach of the year?(Please muffin, keep comments civil )
  7. Muffin, RBS doesn't have a "BEST" player. They play as a team. Sure the 6th grader scores alot of points, but she has 4 eigth graders with her that create many of those scoring opportunities. Teamwork will carry these girls a longway.
  8. I don't believe Jackson Co. will be in 7a, with a 450 9-12 enrollment and over one hundred eighth graders coming up. They will stay AA. and Westmoreland will be moving back up with their 462 9-12 enrollment.
  9. Heady has been told that he risks no further damage if he will rehab for a couple of weeks and brace up when he resumes playing basketball. As far as baseball goes he won't know until he sees how he does in basketball. He probably can't pitch if he does play.
  10. Has this girl played any games with Jackson Co. this year? If so, how did she do? I know the competition that Jackson co. plays is tougher than the competition Her former school plays. Sounds like she will be an asset to the Jackson Co. program in a few years.
  11. Wait til next year!! Why wait? It will just be a repeat of this year. Sure Wix is a good player, but she can't do it all. Also there is no guarantee coach Carter will be around next year. Macon's best group since the ones that graduated last year are in the eighth grade and will be able to make an impact only if they receive some coaching. Macon girls basketball will be down but never count them out .(if coach Carter stays around)
  12. 1. RBS 1. PICKETT CO. 3.CLAY CO. 4.CLARKRANGE 5.H.S. 6.MONTEREY PICKETT AND RBS SHOULD SPLIT AND THEN SWEEP THE REST. TOURNEY SHOULD BE INTERESTING AS CLAY CO. WILL BE READY TO MAKE AN UPSET BID AGAIN. BUT I BELIEVE 8A COULD BE STRONGER.
  13. From watching the junior high teams that feed the 7-AA teams, Jackson Co's reign will be coming to an end by nest season and York, Livingston and Smith Co. should rise to the top. Livingston has possibly the best freshman class in AA (to bad Rickman Doesn't have a highschool anymore)and the York and Smith Co. girls are not far behind.
  14. Well they are this year., along with Hermitage Springs, Westmoreland, Macon Co. and RBS.
  15. The player in question was a senior.
  16. I am sure they are ticked!!! As should be the parents and players of MJCHS. There is no way a coach with knowledge of the rules would even think about playing a transfer without knowing full well he was eligible. If the player in question was #33, I can see why the coaches wanted him to play. He was the mainstay of their offense and defense. I hope this is an embarrassment to the Coach and I hope he is held fully responsible. I have watched a few of their games this year and the actions of the coach are not ,in my opinion, what a christian school should show. GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Wildcat fans, just remember, Macon Co. was in your shoes last season and look at them now. Hard work this winter, spring and summer will payoff nest season.
  18. Who does anyone think that the best players are from this region?
  19. I don't know about the Celina team ,but he did not turn the RBS team around that was done by Coach Smith. Coach Owens has been able to keep them in headed in the right direction and making improvements each year.
  20. Oh Muffin, I see your true feelings for Coach Owens have resurfaced.
  21. Trick or Treat !! This game is being played on Halloween and it could be a frightful night for both teams. I could agree with oneandonlyone, except I don't think either team could score that much without the other one on the field. This is a toss up. I suppose the winner will be which team is the better prepared and which one wants a win the most. RBS-28 WHH-24
  22. Neither team is very good which could make for a close game. If Monterey loses to RBS, it could spell the end of Coach Brewers reign at Monterey, because NOBODY should lose to the Bulldogs.
