He didn't have surgery...he dropped a weight on his foot a couple months ago and didn't think anything about it and he played for about a month on it and it never got better and he cracked the ball behind ur big toe that u walk on. he gets his cast off monday and gets in a boot and then he will hopefully be able to practice in 2-3 weeks. ryan may not be the starter but he's a very good point guard and will only help with soddy's depth this year. Russel McNeil is the other point guard and yes he's a sophmore.

Eric's probably not going to play, and we also have our other point guard ryan goodwin out you can't forget him hopefully he'll be back in a couple of weeks.

Soddy by a lot. And hopefully the owls will win so we can play them again. If Ooltewah beats DB do they take the home field advantage or does it go to Soddy(concidering they beat karns) since they are 2nd??

Soddy also beat Farragut by 32 and Oak Ridge only beat them by 6. I have to agree with you though those games will have no effect on the game this Friday.

I figure because Soddy is bringing in about 5 players that didnt play last year that are good ball players. We will be about 10-11 deep this year. Ron Shumate. I'm not trying to trash talk or anything but Ooltewah lost some good players last year. Central will be down without meriman. Brainerd will be really tough they are the team to beat. Red Bank will have a good team this year they are also returning almost all of there players. But I'm going to stop talkin on the Basketball board for a while, at least until the season gets started or after a few play days.

They have a lot better chance than Ooltewah.

I haven't seen brent hayes but i agree with grad both Doodle and Gary Ibarguen are very good.
