I know it is kinda late but for some recruiting purposes: what are some of the rosters that we can expect to see this weekend at the 16u state tourney? I have already seen the Tn Elite rosters...are there any more that someone can give me?

It did work before. I am trying to access it from an office at school. This is the first time it hasnt worked. Could it be because I am at school.

Is there a way I can get colors on the shirts that are in the store. I have a player here at Freed that wants an orange one? I know you use to be able to get colors cause I have an orange one. Thanks for the info.

If that is true....shouldnt he just play for Union or Freed. Seems as though that would be better competition and he could still play right away. Any truth to this rumor?

The thread wasnt deleted. It can be found on page 6 of the boys basketball page. The only thing is that is not an "in season" sport so you have to have a plus membership to be able to post on it. Without a plus membership you are only allowed to view the pages of the sports that are in season. But it is there alive and kicking. I will even make a post to bring it to the first page. If you will pay a few dollars to help the site out you can post on there anytime you want.

Sounds like someone in Lewis County doesnt want to pay for a plus membership for all their many accounts. I do wish the legend thread was still alive and kicking though. It contained many good biographies on some of the best ballplayers that Lewis County had ever seen. I will look into it.

Never has a thread brought me so close to tears as these. I don't even know these people involved in these threads but it makes my heart melt while also at the same time hardens my will to be a future coach. To be able to one day have the chance to be around people such as these warms my heart and gives me the determination to pursue my goals just as this girl pursued hers. I want to congragulate Stacy Myers on signing with the Freed-Hardeman Lady Lions on April 29th, 2003. They are getting a great girl and fine ball player.

Is anyone playing at the park anymore? Just wondering if there are going to be any games going on this Saturday. I will be in town and have been wanting to play with some of my old Legend friends.

Freed-Hardeman's camp is June 22-27. Regular rate is $260, team rate(5 or more from one team) is $240, Family rate (2 or more from one family) $240, and day camper rate is $200. The head coach and assistant coach run the camp with help from the Lady Lion players and some area coaches. The days basically consist of clinics, competitions and games. Emphasis is placed on fundamentals. The campers are divided onto teams by age groups and will play games throughout the week. If you have any questions or would like a brochure, call 731-989-6908.

How can you say that Kari Bishop did not stand out at state. She hit everything she threw at the goal in the semi-final and led her team in scoring the first round also. I am not sure about the final game stats but I know that she played well the first two games. If I am not mistaken she also made all-tournament. Kari is a great basketball player on and off the court. She was well deserved to gain a spot on the all-state squad.

Are there going to be any games played this saturday? If so the Hinson bro's will be in town. Would like to play some games. Just post and let me know if there are going to be some at the park or anywhere else.

While I am sure Gleason's girls are really good,(I haven't seen them play) the group down at Loretto is tough. I have seen them play three times this year and they seemed to just get better and better. At the college level, the freshman class at Freed-Hardeman University is something special to watch.

This debate has went on before and will go on again I am sure but there is no need for it now. I am going to lock this up. Good luck to both teams and may the best team win.

The latest rumor is former Lewis County girls coaching legend Howard "The Bear" Spears is interested in this posistion. He is looking to take the reins of a young unproven group of girls to lead to the promise land. This could be just the job for "The Bear" to make his return.

I need to know the basketball histories of some more of the legends of the courts. Anyone out there with some information on: Tim Baker, Chris Tanner, Chris Overbey, or Brian Spicer? If so please speak up and let us hear some of the legendary stories of the greatest basketball players that Lewis County has ever seen.

How are they going to know if she is nominated or not when the nominations were delayed until tomorrow. I have almost no doubt that she will be named as a finalist but was wondering who had that scoop and where I could get some info.
