Where will Skogen and Beard go? How could they be eligible? I guess it is a hardship case? Will they go to Silverdale? David Brainerd? Grace? Don't think CCS will be ready for them next year? Feel sorry for Joey, he kind of gets the short end of the stick as far as sports but I said it before, football at Temple goes with the skogens. Said part is.. the school is the one that suffers. Who whats to go to a school that can't sustain anything long term except basketball?

Our coach (a guy I might add) contended that the shorts made us look taller and more intimidating to our opponant. He said we looked more "professional". I understand that wearing culots (sp?) or basketball shorts down past our knees would have looked ridiculous. We wouldn't have looked like volleyball players and we would have been taken less seriously. But hey, I don't care what they thought about our uniforms, I wanted to earn respect from our opponants based on our power and our skill!!

As a player I heard those comments, not necessarilly directed towards me, but it didn't matter. I was humiliated wearing them. I would leave my shorts on over them until the very last minute and put them back on as soon as the match was over. I felt like I was indecent and jumping around in front of a bunch of gawking guys, it was aweful. It actually took away from my game because It was hard for me to forget about the shorts and concentrate on the game. I'll admit, I was probably a little overly sensative, much more than others. The problem was, I didn't like them to begin with and then once I heard what people were saying I just couldn't get over it.

I don't like them. I think they are immodest. I didn't like them as a player and I don't think I would like my daughter wearing them. It doesn't matter how long they are, the issue is how tight they are. I didn't play any better with spandex on than I did with shorts. I think the solution would be to wear spandex underneath shorts. As some one who has taken lots of volleyball pictures I'm with coacht about having a hard time finding modest ones to use. Not only are the shorts a problem, but the shirts are too short and almost any picture of some one hitting you see at least a bare tummy if not more. Just my 2 cents.

The first CCS Knox Catholic game (in which CCS won 2-0) was the final game of the CCS tournament. Fatigue had to effect both teams. I heard Knox Catholic didn't have much depth on the bench. That may have effected that game where as CCS probably played some other guys in the two games. Both teams will be "fresh" on Wednesday. Should be very interesting. I believe CCS had some injuries at the time of their first meeting. They seem to be at least semi healthy now. What about Knox Catholic?

are you just comparing them to A/AA schools? If you put them with the best AAA schools, they would not be able to compete with the top ten. In A/AA, maybe top five, although they are a magnet school.

So what does the seeding look like from each region? 1st 2nd 3rd 4th

I think you can buy them at a boat store or any marina. Places like Walmart even have them if they have a boat section. My recommendation is just clap and cheer. Fog horns are a little annoying.

I agree with your take on the game. CCS played great in the first half. They broke down in the second. I know they have alot of injuries. Should be a great post-season. You could see both these teams in the state championship games. First PK seemed a little questionable. Not sure if he called a foul in the box or if it was a handball. He kept point to his arm. Didn't see the play so I am not sure what happened. Second PK was a good call.
