  1. Very true- but I can't imagine that happening for the Irish this year
  2. THis is a sad week for me- having just come up to Ann Arbor I'll have to listen to my Big Red on the radio. I don't think Southhaven has a top caliber team and being a running oriented team if they get behind they're finished. mba will play well disciplined football. southaven might be bigger but the big red will work harder and tire them out. and thankfully this year the game will be in tennessee so souhaven won't get any help from those MS refs.
  3. i cannot wait for this game- with nick forte out for ba- and cbhs having lost their top two dlineman, it will be a battle.
  4. my post game analysis: mba's defense won the game by absolutely dominating the field position match-up. major props to bryandt hahnfeldt for booting it into the end zone on every kick off giving the wolverines a long field. the defense was outstanding, forcing 2 int's, making a beautiful goal line stand on their own 2 yard line on three plays giving mba a little momentum after what could have been a costly mistake (forcing the throw on a double reverse- the same play mba scored on the first play of the game last year). the offense see-sawed. howe had some nice completions and mcgavock johnson had some nice runs. the oline played much much better than last week. seems like mba is having some problems on the PAT team with the holder. Good intensity and good win. We need to keep gaining confidence with a decisive win next week before facing bga.

    cpa

in the words of lee corso- not so fast my friend. football season is long so i wouldn't make bold assumption on august 27th. i expect big things out of cpa this year and it'd be nice to bring the 1A state title to the midstate.
  6. i am proud of cpa- win or lose it seems like they're playin hard
  7. what happened to that riverdale d?
  8. crumbo has a broken arm in two places. i'm pretty sure he'll have surgery and be out for the rest of the season.
  9. it's always the big talkers who get shut up the fastest
  10. mba lost 35-7 against louisville trinity. year two of the series...last year mba won 17-13
  11. i am confident the big red will come out with a lot more intensity than last saturday and a lot more focus. no doubt they worked hard in practice this week and are ready to play
  12. lewis has already played his 4 season of tssaa eligibility. he played 1 at antioch as a freshman and then 3 at mba where he began as a freshman.
  13. i hear that- mtsu could definately use him...i'm sure they're recruiting him already tho
  14. well put bigreddog-we need to continue to gain confidence and get experience. need some seniors or juniors to step forward as team leaders on both sides of the ball. we should keep it simple this week and not try to do too much. as always mba will be th ebetter conditioned of the two teams so you can bet we'll still be playing hard in the 4th quarter
  15. who was number 89 from the mba/riverdale scrimmage? played DE i believe and looked to be really big
  16. ok well let's talk about something i think we all agree upon. i think that dave thomas is definately the best player on the field when he's out there. what are his college options in terms of offers?
  17. i always thought this was a friendly message board- why the personal attacks on my high school and intelligence? i apologize if i make an occasional spelling error...i think you're right, my education was a waste of time. talk all you want about my school or any other school or team but let's keep the personal insults to a minimum, unless it makes you feel better
  18. who is griggs? and check my past posts and you will see that most of them point towards me being an MBA alum. i do however like rap and hip-hop though. nice try
  19. i don't understand the crow joke but i'd rather have something a little more simple to prepare like a burger or some spaghetti.
  20. i'll be holding you to that boast
  21. i hope the cpa players are reading this- riverdale's defense isn't that good, especially against a well coached and well disciplined cpa team- i still think riverdale wins by a lot. but i still like a defense that has that swagger about them
