  1. I think he had a very well prepared speech and told the press what they could do. I loved hearing it, it's about time players started standing up to the press without bringing violence in.
  2. Nope, not your typical spoiled celebrity kid at all, too bad his brother is.
  3. I was sad when he took the knee but it was the right thing to do. He has always been a classy person and so has Dungy. He'll break it this week for sure, I'm hoping he can end up with around 55.
  4. I had no clue they were trying to get Hudson, this has just made my day. They definately have to resign Renteria, he's the best fielding SS in the N.L., and a huge part of one of the best if not the best infield in the N.L.
  5. When Peyton retires, barring any kind of weird injuries, he will do down as the best QB ever. He is amazing, but he has to be with the Defense that he has. He doesn't have that many great players either, he has James and Harrison. The rest of the guys are scrubs who work their tails off and with a good QB they are now getting the recognition they deserve (Stoakley).
  6. I remember watching Bradley Central play in the 3A tournament last year and they had two really good players: Justin Hare and #4 who's name I can't remember. I watched Hare play tonight for Belmont and I was just wondering if #4 went and played anywhere in college? After thinking about this all night I think his name might have been Kellen Pickel.
  7. Just thought I'd bump this back up to the top again.
  8. I watched Dotson play twice last year and while I did think he had talent, he wasn't half the player Tyler Smith is. I'm not too sure what UT was thinking but I wish him the best of luck.
  9. I was just told by a player that Lewis Co lost by 20+.
  10. I'm pretty sure it was Harpeth. Go White Girl, you should holla at ur boy sometime.
  11. I know they were expecting 31,000 for Full House II and only got about 15,500 and this past weekend when Big Boi was there they only had roughly 17,000, 13,000 less than what they were expecting. I don't think we're going to meet the required 15,000 this year. I was told that if we don't get it this year we have to get it for the next 10 years in a row and if we don't one year the next we will drop back down. I don't really want to drop back down. I'm sure we could dominate down in 1-AA but I like playing against the bigger boys. Go Blue Go! :justwrestle:
  12. Well as the biggest Cards fan in the world, Boston deserved this. They outplayed St. Louis in every aspect of the game. They hit, pitched, ran bases, and everything else better. I'm not one of these sorry loser fans who bash the other team when theirs loses. I congratulate Boston on their win, they made a great run. The only thing I find funny is how many fair weather Boston fans I see at school. A few weeks ago it was all Braves and Yankees hats at school, now that Boston is in the World Series I don't walk 10 feet without seeing someone with a hat on. It's crazy, but I guess it's all about the bandwagon. I have a friend who is always going on about the Cubs but since Boston won he says he's been a fan forever. lol Anyways Boston deserved it, If there ever was a curse it's broke now. :justwrestle:
  13. I love it, and to think I broke the curse by having to pee last night.
  14. I hate the Yankees and I'm not the biggest Red Sox fan either, but this is one of the top 2 rivalries in baseball.(Cardinals vs. Cubs) All the talk of the Babe curse excites me. I love hearing all the stories and seeing the facts. I even read in a SI during the summer that a Kid who now lives in the Babe's old house in Boston got nailed in the head with a Manny homerun ball. The same day this happened the Yankees got their 22-0 throbbing by the Indians. These coincidence's or whatever they are are just insane, but I love it. I will definately be rooting for the Bo Sox tonight, right after my Cards play. B)
  15. The curse is over, I was sitting here trying to write a stupid 4 page paper over poetry and I decided to take a bathroom break. When I left the room our old fashion tv shut off and when I turned it back on the Sox scored their first run, only to be followed by 3 more. Everybody knows I'm a Cards fan but I think I have just broke the Curse for the Bo Sox, all because I had to urinate. :D
  16. I am a very sad man today. I have to work from 5:45-11:00 so I will miss both of my beloved teams games. The Cardinals are in pretty much a must win game with the series tied 2-2 and my Rams will be on MNF, the biggest stage in football besides the Super Bowl. Sad Sad Sad
  17. Ok you're an idiot. Yea I do hate the Titans because they let one of my hero's go but this was not the first or the worst move that they have ever made. It all started the year after they went to the Super Bowl. They let Eddie's main man, Lorenzo Neal(Bengals), go. Next they let one of their starting DB's go, I believe his name was Marcus Roberson(???)(Seahawks). After that they decided to let one of the actual good linemen we had go, Jon Runyan.(Eagles) Blaine Bishop was one of the casualties the next year and this past offseason was just terrible. Letting your LEADER Eddie George, the man who stood up to Ray Lewis in the playoffs last year and ran him over, your best defensive lineman Robaire Smith, and trading away one of the better up and coming recievers McCaireins. These are just some of the people who they let slip through their fingers in the past few years, all of who they should have made a better effort for to resign. I will admit that Brown has been impressive all season long and if Eddie had stayed he would not of had as many rushing yards as Brown does, but they would have some leaderlship in the locker room after this terrible start. (Yes I left Kearse off this list on purpose) On the other side of things, I'm glad to hear you had fun Red.
  18. Too many idiotic managerical decisions, hey there's always next year though. It looks like the Titans could be fighting for 3rd in the AFC South from here on out, but don't be surprised if they finish last.
