What are you talking about? his numbers have been very impressive all year. The man doesnt even get the start at tailback until the 3rd game of the year and yet he is still came close to the 1000 yd mark. He played just about every minute of every game. You obviously didnt read all the post about him. He doesnt play tailback but safety also. I know he hasnt been recruited by D-1 but someone should be he is a heck of a player and deserves a lot of recognition for his hard nose playing. thumb WAY TO PLAY HARD WES!!!

well I think you have to throw Mt. Juliet in the mix. They are in the championship game of one of the toughest districts in the state every year. Coach Purvis builds a good squad each year and they are only losing 4 seniors. Returning all but 2 of the starting lineup. LOOK OUT FOR THE BEARS!!!!!

my vote would have to go to Coach Purvis at Mt. Juliet. turned that program around and has been to regionals and state many times. Cant wait til he gets one but until then is the best coach without a title.

Well personally I think its up to the player myself. Being I was a high school player and my high school we chose to stay together and we grew closer 2gether we worked better and were ready each year for high school ball. Again I think its up to the player and no high school coach should force him to do play anywhere.

this is always one of the best district tournaments in the state. every year the winner of this district goes to state and is a good contender. i think this is the toughest district in the state because anyone in this district can easily pull an upset. just because your #1 or #2 in this district doesnt mean you will be in the championship. like i said without a doubt the toughest district in the state!!

I know the wallace family and i think marty is a great baseball player. he plays with a lot of heart and emotion and sometimes thats better than talent. from what i have heard from people in hickman county marty is a good player and a great hitter. might even start on the football team this fall. he can play for my team anytime!

not sure if he is under 30 but coach Purvis at Mt. Juliet is a great coach and has really turned Mt. juliet baseball around. He will win a state title very soon.

I play college ball and the there are only 3 bats the guys on my team are swinging 1. Worth Wicked (great bat nice sweet spot) 2. Liquid Metal (Mostly the 1,2,8 & 9 hitters are swinging this one) 3. Easton Connexion (blue) Personally i think the liquid metal is the bat to go with if your in the top or bottom, but if your the power hitter by far the wicked.

My vote goes to Mark Purvis of Mt. Juliet. They hadnt even won a district title and his 2nd year they go to regional championship and have been to regionals every year and state once. He has turned the program around. GREAT COACH!!!

Summer league- guy was on 1st and tried to steal 2nd and slid head first and didnt get up. Said he couldnt move his legs, he had somehow twisted lower part of his spline. he is fine now but cant play sports anymore

hey uthater, ok first of all i was part of that mj team from 2 yrs ago and for your information we didnt take a leak in your dugout or on your tarp. u need to get your facts straight b4 u say something. coach purvis has more respect than that and if he had found out (which he would have) that we had done it he would have done something about it. And as i recall h'ville didnt do much better than mj in the state tournament last year anyway. I knew a couple of people on the h'ville team from last year and the year b4 and believe it or not they dont have much respect for any of the teams they are playing. all they ever did was run their mouths.

hey redman or rsquared just curious what you thought about griffey. Will he stay healthy? if so what u think his season will be like? Im not much of a reds fan but i am a griffey fan.
