Is the Greeneville/DB scrimmage Thursday? I was hoping for Friday since Gate City scrimmages Elizabethton Thursday. Good luck to you folks this year!

I heard Thursday at 6 but not 100% certain.

Is the MoEast scrimmage at Morristown? Guess I'll have to wait til next week and watch Elizabethton. We scrimmage them the following week.

I look for a much better game this year than the past couple of years. Our secondary has been playing well for the most part. Our defense shut out an Abingdon offense Friday night that put 60 on the board the week before. With that being said, South's QB scares me to death. We've played on a wet field the past 2 weeks so I'm curious to see what we can do on a dry one...lol. Always one of my favorite games. (Maybe because I live 7 minutes from South)

What time is the scrimmage?

I was told at work this week that Volunteer only had numbers in the 20's, and that was counting freshmen. I've also heard about the "silent theory" and was told that during team meals that nobody is allowed to speak. I can't believe he's still there.

Great I'll have to stop after work and check it out, unless I decide to go "scout" South...lol. Thanks for the info.

I like it also. I wish it would continue, but I've heard that it won't be renewed. I heard Bluefield, WVA wanted to extend the 2 game series also but haven't heard anymore about that one. As for the North series starting up again, I'd honestly be surprised after the fiasco that happened that led to the end of the rivalry. Stranger things have happened though. I'd love to see it started back. We'll see you folks Friday night in Death Valley......hopefully we'll give a much better showing for ourselves this year...lol

Tennessee schools should always beat Virginia schools, especially early in the season. Virginia doesn't allow spring practice and Tennessee allows several scrimmages as compared to 2 for VA schools. That being said, it should be a closer game this year with what we have returning. Hopefully we'll have Clark back full speed this week. He's not the entire team, but having him out there is a major plus. Hopefully both teams will come out of this one healthy. Should be a huge crowd.

DB was up 5-2 when we left.
