Epperson didn't come off the bench......He started last year, and this years Humboldt squad is not better than last years squad...I'm from Humboldt, and this years team is pretty good but last years team is better....Humboldt had no business not winning state last year, to talented!!!! but hopefully they'll make up 4 last years team.....

U can't lose 3 times after the season and still win state......U can lose in the Districts, and u can lose in the Regional Finals, but after that u lose your season is over..cause then theres Sectionals and Murfreesboro......

Humboldt needs to start off feeding Epperson and Sain..they got away from that early last nite, but they battled back and still won!! I was a lil worried in the beginning but the experiance prevailed...just win, score one more point than Wartburg, just win....I think Humboldt will dominate as long as the big boys is getting feed down there in the post.....

Like last year....Humboldt was the better team but Union City won the Ship....It don't matter now it is what it is

Yeah, and Union City also beat Humboldt earlier this year... Humboldt has a different line up than they did the first time they played Middleton and it's not the same team they played earlier in the year.....So we'll see!!!

Sounds like u madd, I understand what your saying cause that's the way it's been taught over the years "unsportsmanlike", but what's wrong with being highly confident in yourself and your team....And anybody can get hurt at any time during a game, u know that!!!! hey u play 60 minutes, ur more likley to get hurt taking it easy than playing hard....Man if I was coaching opposing teams would hate to play my team cause i'm gonna run it up everytime I get a chance, all you got to do is play defense and stop us...And who actually invented the rule when u r up by 20 or more points, the starters should not be in the game, and playing hard at that in the third qtr!!! Teams r capable of coming back from 20 pt leads in games u know.. To many politically correct people in this world...If u r that good u r just that good!!! U suppose to be confident and have some swagger in defending your championship with there talent!! Why have confidence in a team that doesn't have confidence in themselves????

Depends on the caoching....Humboldt always got talent but coaching get us every year....secondary can be replaced..Hawks was All State?? how'd that happen??? I heard he didn't even get all region so how he make all state???

That's the thing about me, I ain't about politics and how the other team feel about....If i had a child playing and they r get ting beat by 50 then they better man up about it and work to cut it down to 30.. ya'll 2 sensitive 4 me, worried about feelings getting hurt... the way i feel about it is just stop me from doing it play defense......U go ahead and keep that Phillip Fulmer mentality "Keep it cose to the 4th qtr and c what happens" win and lose bye 3pt's every game and i'll keep the Spurrier mentality let's score some points and blow em'out and get 100+ point's.....

I think the same way when it comes to football....these coaches be punting on 4th and 1, man i'll never punt on 4th and 1 and i'll run it up 2...it'll be 10 seconds left in the game we up 42-0, i'll go 5 wide and throw it deep lol!!! i'll have a steve spurrier mentality....4th and 10, go 4 it they can't stop us no way!!! lol them coaches be ready to fight me!!!

If I was a coach i'm tryin to run the score up lol!!!! 100 every game......I'll teach my squad to be better than great....and if i get blown out by a team oh well that's how it goes sometime....but we gone play like we down by 20 every game. YOU CAN HATE IF YOU WANT 2.....BUT YOUR WASTING YOUR TIME!!

man do u really think the qb is thinking and down about not taking a knee on da last play......they just won state, he's getting a ring, that's what it's all bout....i dobt if he's internally down about taking a knee......he can take a knee while holding the championship...say cheese bam!!!!!!!!!! coach ain't worried about who take a knee, he was hurt anyway

man i'm telling yall the QB in humboldt got is good, i thought he should have been the starting qb at the begining of the season so that wordlow could stay at rb......it worked out sort of..he got the potential to be the best qb to ever come out of humboldt...and as far as atheletes humboldt keep atheletes every year so somebody will come up and still get a 1,000 yds rushing

This rivalry is on it's way back up beginning with this game and humboldt is on it's way back up to where it use to be cause i'm looking at the future remember u heard it hear first.....Humboldt got a freshman qb who I think will be the best QB Humboldt has ever had he got that much upside about him, he's the best passer on the team throws one of the prettiest balls u'll ever c and he does it with ease, so smooth with it...And with the 7th and 8th graders coming up that came just 1 game short of the jr. high championship( cause coach wouldn't let lot of starters play cause of grades) If they stick with it and stay focused they gonna be a dynasty.........Watch, u heard it hear first!!!! I know I'm i'm looking ahead but I had to get that of my chest.........................But anyway, Hopefully the coaches don't blow it for Humboldt 2 nite...........Cause last weeks win versus Westview didn't have nothing to do with coaching it was because Humboldt have atheletes...Wordlow broke like three tackles and struck out 4 a TD, and they saying good job coach, what does coaching have to do with that!!! lol

Well just like USJ, Yall had a good run in 1A but yall it ain't gonna look to good in 2A!!

Actually a team that could beat them would be the 1996 Humboldt Vikings.....The year before Humboldt played Melrose in the 3rd round of the playoffs in 1995 and beat them very soundly 55-21......I still have that tape!!!!!!

And the only reason he didn't rush for 9,000 yds in his career was because he was on the sideline on a knee with a water bottle by the middle of the 3rd quarter cause Humboldt was beating teams so bad!!!!

U had to c him play man and u had to c his work ethic to understand what i mean by 120%, he played every play as if it was his last......and yeah u got to consider Troy but i don't think he would have had over 9000 yards playing against the competition Kelcey did in 3A matter of fact i know he wouldn't have......and anyway Troy played in Division 1 or 2 competition in High school I don't even count that 4 real.......u can't compare 3A to Division 1 and 2 in high school football not 4 real
