  1. Coach07 you need to get your facts straight before you make a post. For your information and everyone else, the winning season was 1978 and the 5-5 season was 1979. Coach Stewart stayed one more through the 1980 season winning 3 games and left on his own, going to Houston Co. The only thing you got correct was he was the best coach ever at RBS.
  2. Hotdog, just where do your loyalties lie? If you are not a Tiger fan, do you work in Lafayette or with people from Lafayette. You certainly seem to have a wealth if misinformation about Coach Boles and his staff. Boles took the job when noone else wanted it. He coached 2 years with only 16-18 players and the program in debt(no doing of Boles), he has had to fight with the basketball coach for the athletes and has had only one assistant for the last 2 years. Now you tell me how many people would continue at a job under those conditions? As for them only winning one game, don't form those opinions until you have seen them play.
  3. The entire Gville Tiger nation is in the thoughts and prayers of the Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs. May God be with these young people and their family.
  4. The Bulldogs were 6-4 in 1978 and 5-5 in 1979. Current Head Coach Tony Boles played both those years. As far as numbers killing, I have heard the Bulldogs have 32 players on this years squad. I wish them the best of luck on the season.
  5. This is why basketball should not start regular season games until football has finished. Now, before you basketball faithful start, football should look at shortening their playoff system by a week. This way everybody is happy.
  6. It is time to close this thread. You do not have anyone from RBS team or coaching staff that is complaining. We went through this mess last year after Trousdale Co. THe Watertown game is over and done and I am sure the RBS team, coach and his assistant have put this one behind them and are preparing for next weeks game. Give Watertown credit, they have a good team and their younger players did score some TD's. I don't recall anyone getting on here and crying when Friendship defeated Clay Co. by the same score. GIVE IT A REST!!!
  7. YES,but Not as the players were shaking hands, because the Trousdale assistants were the first to greet Coach Boles, not Coach Satterfield. I don't know what happened at Trousdale last night, but I do know Coach Boles has too much class to not shake no matter how bad the team gets beat.
  8. Don't bet the house on it. Make your prediction after friday nights game.
  9. Cornersville opens Friday night with the one of the teams they beat last year. How does this years squad stack-up with last years team?
  10. This is Coach Boles at RBS. I feel it is time to close this thread, as continuing it will do no one any good. Just remember, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" and "Never apologize, it's a sign of weakness."
  11. How will the Bulldogs do this season? Does anyone know anything about the first 2 opponents? Do they have a chance to break the losing streak? GO BULLDOGS!!!!!!!! thumb thumb
  12. Thanks for the info. RBS and HS played 2 games that the coaches, players and fans should be proud of. These two teams definitely showed class (unlike another team ) during both games. Hopefully we will meet again in the district finals. Good Lady Bulldogs !!
  13. Today ,5:30 at Monterey. Tomorrow at RBS
  14. Will Tooley play tonight in Clay Co.'s first district game? thumb
  15. Does anyone know if Issac is going to play football at Clay Co. ? I know the last two transfers played. Just curious. thumb
  16. I agree..I think R.B.S will pull this one out, especially since it's at home..I'm keepin' my fingers crossed!
  17. I'm going with the Lady Dawgs all the way on this one..they want it ..bad! I say Lady Dawgs by 7.
  18. R.B.S guys want this game...bad! I don't think that there is any chance at all of the crowd being tame..they never are..
  19. I say RBS by 7...I hope they win..maybe it will give them confidence for their game against Lafayette...
  20. I think the Lady dawgs have a good chance of winning...I just wish coach White would go to his bench some more..I'd like to see some of them play..see what they are made of.
  21. Please explain how thay run it differently and what do you consider traditional, the Delaware wing-t or Crehan's version of the wing-t.
  22. You are mistaken about RBS. They have 19 players on their roster and will add 10-12 8th graders next week, so their numbers are on the move upward and it appears they will stay up for a few years. Also, how do think you know so much about the program at RBS if you are from Morgan Co. and by the way Clay Co. will not crush RBS Friday night( that's right Friday Night cause REAL MEN PLAY IN THE RAIN)!!!
  23. Chad Evitts from Trousdale Co. was the hardest hitter I have witnessed in high school.
  24. I think that what Swanson is trying to say is that he doesn't care about the ones that aren't playing. Sure it would be nice to have the boys that are walking the halls, but they don't want to play and no one is going to beg them to play, because then they think the coach owes them something. The 2004 Bulldogs are going to be better than last season IF everyone comes in with the attitude that we can win by putting forth our best effort game after game and each day in practice.
  25. NO! It is not sarcasm. This is your coach and I hope you can become supply the Senior leadership we need this season.
