You guys are either really good or your district and region is really weak. As for Gleason we will try to survive the district and regional tournys because we haven't won any of those yet. We will play quality teams throughout. We only hope to get to the region and win the semi final game. If we do that , then we still have to win sectional game. If we win that then who cares who you play. Got to beat them all.One game at a time.

Gleason has less population than Greenfield with 80 something high school girls.About 165 in the whole high school.

Gleason has beaten Chester County 3 years in a row. They beat Dyersburg(with Hollaway) Houston, Obion County,Dyer county.They beat Crocket County in there best year.They beat Mcnairy last year. In the last 2 years I think they are 15-2 aginst double and triple A teams. I think 15-2 is competing night in and night out.

I have seen both teams and they are evenly matched. Collinwood's strenth is thier guards and so is Mckenzie. They are very simular type teams. Should be a good game.

Gleason wins 55-31

In basketball over 7 deep is not an advantage. They only play 32 minutes or a little more. Not many teams can sub out five and not be effected. Depth in high school girls B-Ball is overated. 93 state champs in single A never put in a sub in the state finals. You can only play 5 at a time unless the rules have changed .

I would say in the last two years Mcnairy has had as much talent as anyone I have seen. Have not been able to win the big game. Just an outsider looking in.

Somebody keeps forgetting to tell those single A teams they are supposed to get beat!!!!!!!!!! Wayne over Lawrence C"range over powell(I think) Jackson Co. over whoever Gleason over D'burg In some parts of the state you have to play single A to play good teams.

Wiseman has been outstanding as an individual but as a team they have not shot well.

Gleason is not shooting the ball well as a team but since the first game I have never seen this bunch play as hard and show heart as they have lately. Good coaches search til they fiind out what works for that particular group. I think Coach Frazier has found it.

It's hard to know if District 14A is tough or not cause it will take two months to play everyone once and figure out how good they are. They could have put two teams in that district in with the "Carroll County" district and saved a lot of travel and made the districts even in team numbers. Something can be said about common sense at this point.

Did the flight 16's really win by 78 points vs a Florida team?

Going and not competing for a National title is crazy.This whole world is based on competition and if you do not seek a National title if you make it there I do not want any part of it.Are they going to quit keeping score so there are no loosers?

I am from West Tenn. and I think next year it might be 4 from another part of the state. Don't get to hyped about 4 this year . I will say Clarkrange and West Tenn. have been dominant in single A for 15 years or so. Girls basketball is good in all parts of Tenn. Shelbyville, Jackson County, South Greene, Clarkrange, Bradford,Gleason, and Trenton Peabody have showed dominance in girls Bball in Tenn in the last 15 years.

Freed Hardeman is in Henderson Tn. about 15 miles south of Jackson Tn.

Congradulations to Franklin Girls and Coach Sean Stevenson from the Bon Jovi tour in Gleason.I saw this team play this summer and I know they have come a long way. Good job Sean.

Once and for all,If everyone will look back at shooter20's previous post last year when they were talking about Gleason vs Trenton in the finals of the region (he or she) said " I wish I could be there". Well all the Hudsons were there and thats a Fact.Shooter 20 has made several post in more than one year. Gran has made few posts , all very recently.FACT

Trenton is still the team to beat. Noone in this region has beaten them in 3 years . Why would you not think they were the team to beat? Bobbitt , Barnett, And Simpson are solid players. They will be tough at tournament time.It will be a great region.

Gleason played really well. Amber Wiseman and Riley Auvinshine played great in the post.Out sized doesn't seem to be a problem for them.Meagen Price was in foul trouble early but Gleason's bench play proved itself.

Gleason has 163 9-12 th graders and the girls average about 25 wins a year. Half of 163 is the total number of girls in high school. 25 wins a season with 82 high school girls to choose from is pretty impressive.If Coach Frazier had the talent of some schools he would have lots and lots of gold balls.
