  1. Alot of coaches will tell you that some of their best coaching jobs have been done in years that they finish about .500. This is true of AC's coaching staff this year. Outstanding job this season with the losses they sustained, and youth they had playing. Look out next year.
  2. And then it begins; It keeps on comin; Yada, yada, yada; Antwan, the sportsman; Wow, nobody from Fulton's defense impressed imallin, that must be why SC shelled the Falcon defense with 6 (facemask aided) big ones! Yeah, If Fulton was really anygood they would have won by 60. Winning by only 27 shows me nothin. Yeah, you'd never hear rude things from SC fans! Hmmm, I guess Fulton was badly outcoached last night. I'd like to complain about CoachT posting the wrong score last night showing that Fulton won this game 33-6.
  3. I quess the hole got plugged. Fulton 33 SC 6. Let the "gripin" begin!
  4. Fulton will win this one pretty easily, say about 28-7. My prediction is that in about 7 hours all the SC fans will be back on here complaining about all the bad calls, and cheap shots, stuff like that, because that's what everybody does after they talk all this smack and then lose. See ya about 10:00 or so on CoachT.
  5. Listen to the pot calling the kettle a pot! I get so sick of the middle TN people talking like they are the ONLY part of the state. Apparently that's not enough for Whacko, now no other part of the state can even try to give themselves some props. We're supposed to only talk about middle TN also. Get over yourself.
  6. It will be a stroll in the park though, Lee Corso.
  7. Why did you change your name on this post Master(de)bater?
  8. If you think the Union County game makes any difference in this game, you're wrong. Both teams will be ready for this one, count on it.
  9. Just heard, coach E has ordered tighter fitting shorts to address this problem.
  10. If they buy tickets, and drive over there.
  11. Good luck to both teams, I hope no injuries play a role in this game, or carry over to the next game for the winner. Either team will be a great representative of our district in Murfreesboro.
  12. This game has a very strange feel to it. The feeling I get from talking to people in the Knoxville area is that, at least amongst them, Fulton is the favorite in this one. It has to be on recent scores that they base this, but I don't understand that. One team (AE), is 12-0 and has already beaten the other team which is 10-2, and the game is at the 12-0 teams house. Now of course anything can happen, and I think this will be a true high school classic, but you have to make AE the favorite in this one. Recent scores don't mean much to me, as I get the feeling that AE has been looking past everyone to this rematch, while I think Fulton, as the first match up loser, has been trying to build towards this game. I like Fulton's mind set better going into this game, but both teams will be ready. If Fulton is looking for an AE let down this time around, they will be in trouble. If AE thinks this is the same Fulton team they beat early, they are in trouble. Emotions will be sky high at the start of the game, so it will be physical on both sides of the ball, so the question for me in a physical contest is who blinks first? Who wins? Heart says Fulton 21 AE 20 Head says AE 21 Fulton 20
  13. No shoots, No lose, No problem. We do however think their tractor's sexy.
  14. Anderson County will be stout this year. Coach Mike Ellis has done a good job of steadily building this program with younger players, who aren't younger anymore. With the addition of Tiffany Rodd, and maturation of Emily Dupree the Lady Mavs will be very big up front, and seasoned and deep in the 1,2, and 3 spots. This is going to be fun, and a banner year all-around for AC in women's athletics.
  15. and evidently I know Jody Wright better that you do.
  16. I had very little problem with your first post, just as I have no problem with this last post, but in the one I quoted from you were way out of line. I got that you claimed insight into his character from coaching against him, because you did. Re-read your own post. You used that statement and having spent time in the teachers lounge with him, in the same sentance to vouch for your "believe me it was said" claim. If that's not what your claiming, of what use is it to say it? Whether or not their were other people in the teachers lounge during a conversation you may, or may not, have had is irrelevant. You were colleagues, fellow teachers. Where's the brotherhood? Teachers talk about students, parents, school board politics, religion, race etc... I can't imagine keeping a ledger on comments that people say in all kind of different context, and then years later using it against them in this manner. You didn't have to come right out and say anything about his character, because you statements about him attack that all on their own. Just as I don't have to know you sir, to know about your character. Your unsolicited attack on a coach and person of Jody Wrights caliber tell me all I need to know to form my opinion.
  17. You have no class at all, and I for one don't believe a word of your garbage. You obviously have an axe to grind with a coach out of what I can only imagine is pure jealousy. To claim that because you coached against him when he played at Lake City (and I'm sure lit you up), that gives you some insight into him as a person is ridiculous. Nobody is the same person during competition, that they are off the court. If you had private conversations with him in the teachers lounge, and now wan't to air them publicly, this many years later shows me that integrity is certainly not part of your character. Shame on you! To make an off the cuff remark, like "...he seemed more interseted in the cheerleaders than a very young basketball team" is such a low blow. People can say "he seemed like" and then attach any crap they want after it, but it's not credible. I know Jody Wright, he is as fine a human being as I know in all aspects. What is your purpose with this stuff other than to try to smear the name of a great coach, and an even better person. "I have nothing against him" Please! I hope nobody comes on a public forum like this to air some of the things you've said in the teachers lounge, or to give their ideas of what you "seemed like", Big Daddy.
  18. Congratulations Erin! You are such a great person. Good luck in all your future endeavors. I have to say you guys at Powell must be doing something right. I know three of the ladies from your senior class, Erin, Lindsey Haas and Courtney Cox, and they are all such quality people. You should all be proud of a system that can turn out these type of citizens. Of course great parents helps too .
  19. You guys need to try really hard, and see if you can chew on two thoughts at the same time here. 1. You guys posted that "we will let the pads do the talkin". 2. You guys do all the talkin! Now, can you grasp the contradiction (two ideas which form a logical dichotomy) in what you're dishin out here boys. So it doesn't have anything to do with AC this year, and it doesn't have anything to do whether or not you've got something to talk about this year. It has to do with talkin out of both sides of your mouth at the same time.
  20. Let the pads do the talkin? This message board has never known a bigger group of talkers than the Campbell County posters of 2004. Give me a break!
