i'd love to see jackson county do better they have heart and the fans are super but compare the jackson and cannons to the rest of the region and that is a joke really.i wish nothing but luck for them but it's really like a jv team playing a varsity squad

any bowl games this year? what does everyone out here think of them? i think they are great i seen the upperman bowl last year between two 7 and 3 teams york vs macon county and heard of a few last year and it looks like 2 teams from region 4 class 3a will again have 5 and 5 records or better and not get in the playoffs.any ideas?

what happened to chattanooga city and phoenix 3 high schools? they just disappeared from football.are they still open? thank you!!!

cumberland county has been talking about building a brand new high school and there is talk of a new high school to take sevier county students and some from seymour called northview a few years in the works

i've seen oakdale football a few times.do they have cheerleaders there? i don't recall ever seeing any.great luck to your team this year!!

what is going on in cannon county? i went out there after seeing a oakland game on a thursday some years back about 5.well i seen cannon play friday i thought it was a neat name for a county anyways some of the people were very nice while i went to the newspaper office there to buy back issues to read of their football team the people there were very rude and would not let me look in a archive book they had on the desk they also said they did not have any back issues.the team played tough but got beat bad the fans were so nice.i like to read different newspapers high school football previews and i swear every year cannon county paper sends my money back and says they don't put such a issue out that is hard to believe worse yet they claim not to have been to the state football playoffs since the 70's which also is not true at all.what is the problem there?

gatlinburg pitman for one is bad i seen them play south doyle the year south doyle almost went state fans were nearly on the field after 3 touchdowns and 4 clearly great field goals were all no good and wiped out, i've seen it get better there though.the worst is seymour just ask any fulton and rutledge fans out there.rutledge a few years ago had the upset of the year in the making seymour was finished 4th and long the quarterback was going down at the rutledge 35 he threw the ball towards the end zone as he went down threw the ball to a lineman!! incomplete pass rutledge gets the balls runs out clock and wins,wrong!!!!! pass interference on rutledge on a ball uncatchable thrown to a lineman which is also illegal plus rutledge coach gets flagged too for asking if that was the correct call so seymour scores and wins while fat refs get police escort off the field by sevier county cops ummm 4 cops vs thousands of fans yea.then in a playoff game afew years back seymour barely winning vs fulton lets see seymour punting from own 5 ball hits the ground punter scoops it up kicks it it is blocked out of bounds so fulton ball at seymour 20 down 4 with 3 timeouts left and 2 minutes but wait roughing the kicker on fulton on a ball that hit the ground that is not roughing or anything and plus fulton gets 2 unsportsman like penalities on their coach for pointing out the fact when the ball hits the ground punter is fair game.it happens about every year but i think it is getting better there to.

i heard coffee county fans are "perked" up about their football team this year lol but i think i'll spill the beans and pick coffee county to win over cumberland who is doing better than thought and may go 5 and 5.
