Those of you talking all this praise for the coach at PF obviously do not have a clue what is going on inside that program. Lets just say that many more starters are ready to quit or transfer because of some inside issues.

Who are you? You have to have some kind of alterior motive for being here. Unless you're just some dude who woke up in a bad mood, or something to that extent. BTW, the whole homeschooling thing, as for me not being in school anymore, is/was my decision. Have a nearly perfect record for discipline, and almost never was in trouble. My grades were dreadful, but that's more me being lazy than anything else. Any other quarrels you have with my posts? Ulterior - not alterior.

But wouldn't a victory be really sweet. I am really proud of the Cherokees tonight. Score could have been much worse considering the fumble and the touchdown that was called back. Congratulations to players and coaches.

I think it is just wonderful that you folks can hide behind a screen name and say whatever you want to say against a player, a coach, an athletic director, a school, whatever. You probably never played a down of football in your entire miserable life and you certainly have never been a coach. But, hey, you know it all. For the price of a ticket and a forum like Coach T, you can say whatever you want to say because no one knows who you are.

Please say a prayer for South Doyle QB, Jonathan Mitchell, who suffered a broken arm in Friday nights game. He lost his mother about 6 weeks ago. Just seems like a lot for a high school senior to have to endure. Hopefully he will be on the sidelines next week cheering on his teammates. He is a great kid.

It looked like South Doyle's athletes and coaches kept Clinton off-balance all night. Clinton's defense had trouble finding the ball and once they found it, catching SD's much faster backs. Clinton's offense never figured out SD's defensive scheme all night. SD's coaches did a great job and so did the athletes.

I wish S-D nothing but luck. I did not detect a "give-up" attitude among the players or the coaches last Friday night. They played and coached until the end. Also, your JV beat our JV on Monday 14-3. I just hate to see people get on here and blast the players and coaches when they are trying their best. I don't think any of them take the field on Friday night and hope to do anything but win. Good luck against Sevier County.

Shame on you!!! Getting on here and talking negatively about a program. I am sure these are players and coaches who want to win. Do you know how much one negative remark can have on a young person? Have you ever considered that some of the players might be reading your comments? If you can't say something positive, just don't say anything at all. I am a West fan and just happened to be on here today. I certainly hope none of the young men who play on the S-D team have read this. The players and coaches on every team need to be encouraged. Again, shame on you!!!

For heavens sake!!! The McMinn Co.-DB game is over. DB won. The Oak Ridge-DB game is over also. DB chocked in the quarter finals as they usually do. It is interesting you talk about the vicious hit made on the DB boy on the punt at the last part of the game. You seem to have forgotten the hit made on the McMinn Co. punt returner in the first quarter and he signaled for a fair catch. DB was rightfully penalized as was the McMinn Co boy who interferred with the non-fair signaling DB punt returner. For a school the size of DB they should be contending for state championships in all sports at least to the semi-final round. However, it is easy to understand why they don't if they listen to their fans on this site. They make them to be invincible. But DB fumbles, throws interceptions and misses tackles just like all football players do. I think it would be great for high school sports for the fans to go to the games, applaude the good plays and root for their home team instead of looking for something to complain about
