  1. Listen to the schedule that St X plays. They have already played Colerain and Pratville and still have Indianapolis Cathedral, the top team in Class 4a in Indiana along with Don Bosco Prep from New Jersey, Louisville Trinity, Cleveland St Ignatius, Lakewood St Edwards, Elder, Moeller and Lasalle who is the worst team on their schedule by far.
  2. After getting a chance to watch the game, the first half ugly. MBA picked it up a lot in the second but be glad that they didn't get X, Colerain or Elder. X and Colerain don't give up anything defensively and the Elder offense is potent. I don't think MBA would have come out on top against these teams but it doesn't matter cause they took it to Moeller.
  3. I wasn't there but Moeller usually has about 7 or 8 thousand fans and there probably would be about 2 or 3 thousand neutral observers with it being a noon start. St X and Elder, two of the three other GCL schools always bring about 10 or 11 thousand with them. Got fireworks going on tonight so it's going to be crowded in that whole area. About two million people on both sides of the river combined.
  4. I wasn't able to make this game because after sitting in PBS from 10:30 A.M. until close to midnight yesterday I didn't have it in me but it sounded like MBA offense was rolling and their d had a bend but not break attitude. This is a very good win for MBA as Moeller is a top 5 team in CIncinnati which makes them a top 10 team in the state of OHIO. MBA dominated the time of possesion. 30 minutes to 15 minutes. 440 total yards to 190 in MBA favor. Good sound beating. GOOD JOB Tennessee
  5. Its 21 to 6 MBA now and MBA has the ball in Moeller territory. Your Tennessee boys are representing.
  6. The best board to find talk on is Yappi.com. They pretty much cover the whole state of Ohio with Southwest Ohio, CIncinnati and Dayton having the most posters. I am calling this game a tossup and I looking foward to a good hard hitting game. If any of you get a chance, you need to check out all of the games just to see how good Ohio Football really is. Every Ohio team participating plays in the same division for the same state championship.
  7. Hoover is going against the second best team in Ohio. Don't think it will be close.
  8. I will say this. There is a team up in Cleveland Oh that has had more talent than any team in the country for the last 4 or 5 years, but they have had an early exit from the playoff's each year because of coaching. I'm talking about a team who had the number 1 rated db in the country come out of three straight classes.
  9. Like a couple others have said Kilbourne is not a top 10 team in Ohio and having seen high lights of Riverdale from my days at Murray State Riverdale should be able to pull out a win. Win or lose you shouldn't worry about Ohio fans saying one thing or the other because they know good football when they see it.
  10. Yep that score is current and as far as the Polls go. Every once in a while states like Tennesse, Kentucky produce teams that can absolutely play with anyone. Last year I witnessed a team from Indianapolis that you could put in any state and the would be 1 or 2. A few years back Highlands in KY had Gino Guiduli, Jarod Lorenzen, Derick Smith, Rob Smith, Brent Grover and about 6 other Divison 1 recruits on that team, not to mention about 6 or 7 lower divsion college players.
  11. When he gets hot he's like lava and never cools off.
  12. The Kentucky qb is from Mason County. The Leonell Dewalt is from Warren Central. Grutza played with Chris Lofton in basketball and football. Lofton would have been the second best reciever if he had played in the game. I think he is better at football than basketball personally.
  13. Just in case you haven't heard they lost again for the 4th times which makes them 0-4 so just when you though Tennessee football was king.
  14. Ausdan trust me. If you would have seen what I saw you would have said the same thing. There were 9000 people there from Elder and many others from the the Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati area and everyone said the same thing. This team was atleast 3 td's better than every team that was at the Sports festival.
  15. They definately didn't deserve to be ranked in the top 25 let alone a top 20 but Brian Brohm is the real deal. And like I said earlier. The team that was there from Indiana was the best high school football team that I have ever seen. If they would have played Trinity they would have beat them by 50 and I'm not kidding.
