Well i played aginst them and they are haveing a good couple of years but the teams i played aginst wasnt to hard hitting but i did hear they were alot better the past 2 years. Lamberts done alot for them hope he keeps it up.

I wind that noah melton might come back for his season at bledsoe. i work wit his brother and his brother said he couldnt decide between bledsoe and onieda, if he came back here fore his season he would help the team alot. I heard he was a great reciever and can play some qb anybody heard anything on it...

ok u serious does this sound familar 35-0 ya it does to me and 12-0 region champs # 4 in the state but they stunk, when was the last time someone in the county beat coalfield 04 wartburg maybe, not sure and when was the last time sunbright beat c town. ya been a while and sure as heck not gonna happen anytime soon...

nice scrimmage huh, but both teams are gonna have to pick it up if they wanna have any chance at coalfield. wartburg looked better than sunbright not much but they did, the D looked better than anything, but heard coalfield had a young secondary take advantage of that and its not hard short pass the he** out of them. then deep ball works every time. but as far as the scrimmage sunbright what a trip lol, always high hopes, i remeber somoone pickin them to beat c-town last year and coalfield threw all over them, so ya get used to hearin about sunbright bein great but u can see for yourself there a trip...........

wartburg wins this one no doubt. i was at the sunville scrimmage and they look the same as always, high hopes that always gets shattered every year. now wartburg got a new dc heard he went to the semi-finals at his other school. my opinion he should have prob been the head coach if he went to the 4th round at a 5a school. but sunbright looks week and small as usual. if u have any kind of passin game against them game over. all they do is run deep and throw it up and the recievers are tiny. i say wartburg ends the curse no doubt. wartburg-5 sunville-2

lol are you bein serious os 1 onieda 2 and coalfield 3 no way. coalfield is gonna be number 1 by a long shot they got 3 new transfers that are as good as melton and newberry. coalfield is the best team in the district and has a GREAT chance of goin to state.

well men here is a little mix for everyone. i used to play for Bledsoe in middle school and grew up playing against SP, one word for everyone FAST, then my sophmore year i moved to coalfield. Hampton has beat us in the playoffs 2 times in a row since i have been here and they beat us because they are more PHYSICAL up front hampton needs to contain the end. sp needs to also hampton sweeps the end with 4 or 5 blockers hard 2 stop that lol. special teams wins the game for SP.

wow!!! i wouldnt say that hampton is that much better. i play for coalfield and hampton is fast. midway is fast. this will be a rushing ballgame. I give hampton the edge because they can throw the deep ball...Midway hardly ever throws i guess because they run all over everybody i dont know..but coalfield ran the ball on hampton at the begining and could not score on the five so we just basically gave up....If Midway can stop the sweep around the end and the deep ball they will win....One more thing for Hampton a little help!! The D-LINE is gonna have to close there splits down or RAY RAY will have a game he is QUICK AND STRONG... If hampton does that they will roll. HAMPTON 34 MIDWAY 28

i dont believe anyone thinks that coach k is the worst coach ever but it is hard for the kids to get pumped up when all they ever hear about is how bad they stink and how bad he wished he would have quit with last years team. but anyway i believe that the jackets will do well against the greenwaves as i have been at every practice this week and they have implemented a new formation and are currently running about 12 plays out of it. but anyways good luck coalfield.

well i go watch practice every day and i hardly ever see the head coach there. coachk wants to blame hes team for letting down and giving up. As far as i can tell he is letting them down and giving up. i like him alot but if he aint gonna be there than whats the point of being the head coach. i also heared from some players that him and melton got in a argument because coachk was never coming to practice or school. well beyond that the O corrdinator is horrible, he runs the ball 9 out of 10 times dont understand that. armes should be the startin running back he is good knight sould be fullback. and melton should be QB. that would be a tough backfield

ya lol by the way coalfield 1A um 200 kids maybe. onieda um 1A about 425 kids ya big differnce and coalfield still hangs with scott county teams. so onieda y dont u raise up to your on level.and scott high wow one good season wait until york lol

i say true..thats all they have really besides william and shawn armes...haney is the best linebacker on the team not saying a whole lot..melton is the only true returning starter from last year..i was at the game and him and armes were the only threats on the team as far as offense goes..armes made some great runs while melton made some great catches..so my opinion thats it for coalfield good luck though...

i will also agree that jacob estep is one of the best in the state but jared knight from coalfield is a close matchup for him. i have had the oppurtunty of watching them both play and as knight doubles as middle backer and tailback i think that estep would definitely have his hands full, but i guess we will find out if they meet in the playoffs.

i agree, its not a gimmie for coalfield but if they dont get the big head and keep hitting the ball they should win this district tourny. they have faced the best two pitchers in the district. hawn-sunbright leach-o.s. they hammered the ball on them. they have 5 homeruns in two games. alley-2run hill-solo melton-2run against sunbright. and taylor-3run duncan-3run. just keep hitting the ball and they will be fine.

the kid from oliver springs is jake haney and he is back this year as well. he registered 20 tackles in the last game and knight registered 19.

Jared Knight from coalfield is a beast in the middle as he weighs in at 6'0 235 lbs. and recently ran a 4.7 last year as a junior he registered 110 tackles and 12 for a loss. sounds pretty good.

no it wasn't/ coalfiled loses to rockwood tonight 9-5 pretty good game. shane doughty for rockwood hit another bomb. Nick duncan for coalfield threw a pretty good game. coalfield had 7 errors and rockwood had i think around 4 errors not sure though. skidmore pitched for rockwood along with a lefty (don't know his name) then curt boston pitched last inning.
