We are looking forward to a good game tommorrow evening in Lafayette. May both teams give it their all and make their respective counties proud of their play. Can't wait for the kickoff!!! I have been looking at a couple of directions. Can someone tell me what the think is the quickest way to Macon? Many thanks.

Good luck to Cheatham. Play tough and keep your hopes alive (and we will do the same in Macon County!!!) After watching both teams play,I believe Cheatham has what it takes to get the job done....

We always see a good game when our schools play. Just so you will know down the road, there are 2 gates open every game. You enter the first gate directly behind the high school at the Main entrance. We also have a second gate which you enter behind the Middle School and come in at the scoreboard end of the field. Thanks for another exciting Friday night!!

Still sitting here scratching my head trying to figure out how we lost this game. To have been up 21-0 and turn around and hand this game away is hard to swallow. Congratulations to Pearl Cohn. You certainly played well in the 2nd half. We appreciate your hospitality, and with the exception of the final score, it was a wonderful evening at your house. Your fans, concessions and band were great. To my Sycamore War Eagles, shake it off, hold your heads high and lets take the rest ,one game at a time. Are you proud to be a War Eagle... Tigerman, Thanks for the classy comments! At the end of the game your announcer said Carrigan rushed for 143 and Lohin had 103. It was a good game and makes me think back to a game when you all trounced us at Sycamore. Your Coach Mac told several of us fans that evening that Sycamore would be a team to reckon with one day !!. Good luck in the coming weeks.

Let me be the first to say Congratulations to the Cubs. Sycamore was just not able to get anything going their way tonight. I am always anxious to get this inter county rivalry game over so we can come back together and cheer for all of our Cheatham County Teams. Best of luck next week to the Cubs and my Sycamore War Eagles.

Thanks for the directions and helpful info. I have used mapquest before and added a lot of driving time. I always like to have good directions so that when my husband gets lost , I can get us to the game before Kick Off!!!

Congratulations to the Bobcats. You played a great game. EZ, thanks for the kind words. It has been a tough season for our young men and I am sure all of us have wondered what Garza would have been able to do with a seasoned line. We will hear from him later in life. He jumped on a plane this morning to fly to another school in New England. I wish him and our other young men the very best. Fat Cat, sorry you have chosen to base your opinion on all Sycamore Fans by one person. I wish you could have stood with me and other Sycamore parents after the game as we congratulated your young men on a fine game. I specifically sought out your Mr. Herndon to congratulate this fine athelete. I have always found that in a basket of apples there may be one or two that are "over ripe" but the remainder of the basket contained good fruit. I have no doubt that everyone will get their "moneys worth" at this game Friday night. Sycamore and Greenbrier always play each other with everything they have and I believe we would be hard pressed to have found 2 more exciting games than we had against one another last year. We look forward to hosting the game this year and welcome our Robertson County neighbors to Spangler Stadium. Sitting here reading these posts just confirms once again what a great learning tool High School Football is for our young men. My hat goes off to Greenbrier on your win against our Sycamore team. WHAT A GAME!! Ralph03, I am so proud of you and our young men and thank you for a wonderful ride!! And to Greenbrier fans, it will be a pleasure to sit with you on Friday night and cheer on our Region 5-3A Champs. I do not want to sit on the visitors side again. Seriously, 2 of the wooden bleachers split last week while all of us were jumping up and down. I knew we were all going down and I certainly didn't want to miss one second of that game. It's a shame our Athletic Programs are left our during the Budget Process for our counties. Best of Luck Friday night.

All kidding aside, Sycamore's Head Coach is Tommy Tharp and we are very proud to have him at Sycamore. He has built this program from the time Sycamore became a High School. 5 years as a High School and 4 years in the Play Offs. Not bad Coach!! Thanks for all that you have done for this program and the hours you and your assistants have given to our young men, May God Bless you and our boys on Friday night. GO WAR EAGLES!!!!!!!!!

Sycamore Fans certainly apprecate your gracious post. Sycamore finally stepped up tonight and showed what this team is capable of doing. They have been "a play away" in several key games this season. Our young men played with heart and conviction and we are so very proud. We look forward to returning to Bobcat stadium next week. GO WAR EAGLES!!!!!!!!
