Chad Hunter from Riverdale is hands down the best hitter in the state. He has power to all parts of the field and he also hits for a high average. Not to mention that Chad has blazing speed. No other player in the state can hold his jock. But Ben Jones from Riverdale aint bad either, I seen that rocket he hit against Mount Juilet

i have said the same thing yesterday.. i guess great minds think alike.. haha.. in a wing t offense there isnt a lot of passing so scott's passing (which was suspect last year) isnt going to matter.. and when he runs he fumbles the ball a lot.. how many times did he fumble last year?? i believe marcus is just a better wing t quarterback as well.. but will his dad be happy with him not being the starting qb??

i only saw one call that was obviously horrible.. i believe that smyrna was the better team tonight and deserved to win.. and gosh will the blackman parents let the players play the game.. if the ref makes a bad call dont tlak to him every 5 seconds.. and i thought blackman could have gotten a yellow for running their mouth but that is just me.. i dont think they have changed from last year.. i believe if they had those 3 they would have won.. but they didnt and they lost.. so now they're 0-2

well i disagree.. smyrna deserved to go to state just as much as hillsboro did.. they worked just as hard in the off season and put in the same amount of hours.. to say something like that is stupid.. i know a lot of girls on smyrna's team and trust me they deserved it.. from your post you say just because jessica mooney is good she deserves to go to state?? well smyrna has two people that signed D1 as well so i guess they deserved to go to state too..

i was at the game as well.. smyrna just got out played, out coached, and out hussled.. i believe they were over looking hillsboro and it showed.. that being said congrats on a great season.. and i wish they luck next year.. next year Emily Pollock will be running the show so get ready.. she is really quick with the ball

smyrna won by 16 so i guess that is the score.. now that devon is back it should be a good game between wilson central and smyrna tomorrow night

I was really impressed with Smyrna’s intensity at the beginning. They just seemed like they wanted the game. and I was really impressed with Emily Pollock.. She played like a true champion and she is extremely fast off the dribble. She is a great 6th man off the bench. Good job Smyrna!! And especially to the Pollock sisters tonight

well i didnt go to the game but i am sorry to hear that they lost.. i know how much these girls wanted it.. but hey the season is still young and trust me these girls got the passion.. and i agree coach willey has done a great job.. just another smyrna poster getting mad and not know what they're talking about.. but hey i know most of the team and trust me they got the heart, determination, and ability to make it to state.. good luck tonight girls

from what i understand steen is only out a week or two more.. she did tear her ACL but after having 2 knee surgerys she said her knee was strong.. i wish her luck cause this is "her year"

i know for smyrna Taylor Oliver, Kim Palmer, and Devon Thompson have already signed and i believe that Jessica Pollock will sign before the year is over.. i was at the game but didnt remember who hit the game winning shot.. i remember it was a great game though

i just think Taylor has the presense on the floor.. i saw her making passes that were unbelieveable.. i have seen her play since 7th grade so i have seen her evolve as a player.. she is very humble as a person and will suceed at the next level.. 2p you know any other area girls who are good?? have to mention Jessica Pollock as the MOST underrated player in the county.. she is an awesome defender

no disrespect to AML but i dont even believe she is the best player in the county.. i would have to give that honor to Smyrna's Taylor Oliver.. i have seen both of them play while AML might get the points Taylor is the better all around player in my opinion

palmer was at riverdale but moved and went to smyrna for many reasons.. but she is happy now and doing a great job

dare_2_dream where did you get that picture.. that is my boy.. i have seen the man play since he was 10.. he played against my brother in pop warner and in high school.. ive never got to meet the man but would love to.. and the funny thing is that my friends dad called that he would win the heisman when he was 10 yrs old.. to bad i moved to TN.. anyways, the game should be pretty good.. Siegel is a total power house but i believe Riverdale will come over with nothing to lose.. kind of like Florida State did tonight and beat the better Va Tech team that was favored by 14 pts.. or like Hawaii beat Michigan State a couple weeks ago on the hard wood.. the underdog often plays to the potential of competition

yeah the counselors at riverdale dont seem to care much.. i mean rollins is a stand out soccer player and he didnt know about anything until i told him and then he asked coach arman about it.. so i guess only certain schools seem to care about giving their athletes the info to play at the next level

Devin went to Blackman and Riverdale.. Kim is an awesome person and a great player.. i wish all the smyrna girls luck this year and i hope they win state.. and it was pretty hard for them to win games in district and region cause they always had to play Mt. Juliet when they won their first game.. and with Alisha Clark they were UNSTOPABLE

well i believe that lonehero25 has a biased opinion seeing as he played for last years smyrna team.. i believe last years team was good but i beleive this years team played more together and had a more balanced attack.. now next year seems to be a very promising year.. so who knows.. maybe next year will be their best year ever
