  1. Maybe some of the West Greene faithful should have thought about that before they came on here and put targets on theses kids back's by saying stupid stuff like "WEST GREENE BB GOING TO TURN SOME HEADS THIS YEAR," and that West Greene will win 20, 18,15,12 or whatever it is yall have whitled it down to, and that West Greene will "Give Unicoi all they want."
  2. Well DB CLOWN, Davidson's 13-6 record against SEC teams is very impressive. All those SEC schools are HUGE schools. There's no excuse for them to lose to a school like Davidson. And If some of those wins came over Kentuky, thats VERY impressive. Isn't Kentuky one of the two or three greatest programs of all time??? And it dosen't matter who it is. Unaka's record against the "Big" 9 is very good, considering Big 9 schools average about 5 times larger than Unaka... So pull you head out of the sand and see the Big 9 is down. I mean the area's AAA conferance has only 1 team that would pretty much be a shoe-in to win the 1-A region, which is being called very weak by other regions in the state... Thats sad.
  3. First off, Central wasn't in the Big 9 at the time. If you want to go by teams that are in the Big Nine NOW, Unaka is something like 19-6 since 01... And 2nd you didn't beat Unaka by "like 20" that year. Central won by about 5 after Unaka blew a 23 point half time lead.
  4. I'd say McCallie, cause on that one end you're shooting into the nether... Also, if your going for a loose ball om that side, and you flip over the railing, you're a goner
  5. We've already went over this. Since 01-02, Unaka is 13-4 agains Big 9 Teams.
  6. Girls games are just called different from the men's game. Proof positive: How many charges have you seen called in girls games? I've seen 3 the past four years. Refs just call girls games different.
  7. I move that we re-name The Big Nine to "The Big Weak"
  8. Being the best team in Marion County still isn't saying that much, but all power to you.
  9. So West Tenn. teams play fast, and East Tenn. teams actualy play deffense. Hmm. Sounds like it ought to even up just fine.
  10. I don't know where you were when it happened (probably in Poga with your sister) but Unaka BEAT Unicoi. Thats right. Unaka beat Unicoi. Unaka's got the best starting 5 in the conferance. They just need to pull thier heads out of their rear-ends and start playing like they are very well capable of. And no. Elizabethton would get beat by Unaka. Elizabethton dosen't have much, and anyone who has seen them knows that. And I WILL NOT put Elizabethton ahead of Unaka until Elizabethton is heads and shoulders above Unaka. You know why: Because Elizabethton is too chickenshit to play Unaka. Betsy is scared of Unaka so much, they won't play them on the hardwood, the diamond, or now even the grid-iron.... Now, about Jan. 2nd. Its at Snavley. BIG plus for the Rangers. Guards match up pretty good. Jordan will out hustle Lyons (if he dosen't get thrown out of the game) but Bently on Hunter really scares me. (Bently on most anyone is a mismatch) Hunter will have to bring his "A" game... Unaka has absolutly no depth, so they'll HAVE to staty out of foul trouble.... I will say this though: If its close late in the game and McClain lets Lunceford call the shots, Hampton wins. If he dosen't, they lose... Unaka will need a big game from behinfd the arc, which they can do. Andrew hit 6 3-pointers in 6 minutes against Boone. So, there you go... P.S.: If you're worried about spelling, gramer, ect., find a differant web-site.
  11. How is Elizabethton better than Unaka?. Besty is awful this year. But you're from Hampton, so your IQ is probably the same as your GPA (about 1.2 or there bout,) so I don't really put much stock into or give a crap what you think... Stay off her and go back to your single wide in Poga and hit on your sister a little bit more.
  12. Sorry South Pitt only got 1 player on the team, but these voters have seen A WHOLE LOT MORE football this year than you have seen the past 5, so go cry a river elsewhere.
  13. I'd hope so.... South Pitt is really running a gantlet with that schedule of their's aren't they?
  14. Clinch vs. Morristown East Chucky-Doak vs. David Crockett Cedar View vs. Elizabethton Providence vs. Volunteer
  15. Yes they could. Now I'm not saying they will (if they get the chance) but they could beat any 1A team in the state. As far as "off the court issues," they may or may not be having any, I don't know. But if they are, they aren't letting them effect their play out on the floor.... But its been about a week, so lets get a new top 10. 1. Union City 2. Temple 3. Lake County 4. Humboldt 5. Grace Baptist 6. Pickett County 7. Adamsville 8. Cloudland 9. Wartburg T10. Eagleville T10. Friendship Christian Eagleville and Frendship play tomorrow evening, so I'll be able to pick from the two then.
  16. I wasn't impressed at all by Harriman over the weekend.
  17. Abingdon always has a real strong team. They're very good this year. They are 6-0 and none of the games have been close, granted compatition in Southwest Virginia isn't anywhere near strong. Perry County Cental has a 4-3 record, Casey County a 1-6 record, and North Harrdin a 3-5 record. Couldn't find anthing on Sheldon Clark... Best teams in this tourny are Pigion Forge, Abingdon, and probably Perry Central.
  18. Wow!... Who brought this thread back from the dead?
  19. Perry Central is KY I think... How do the brackets work out with 10 teams?
  20. Cosby won't be near as good next year. They've lost their play-makers. The tougher schedule will add a few more losses, plus when you play bigger schools, you increase your chances of somebody getting hurt. I expect around a 5-5 season. Maybe 4-6 or 6-4... It is nice to see them steping up and playing some tougher games though
