Once again wc lost because Smyrna was better end of story. I do want to say wc is by far the best team I have ever seen at recovering their own fumbles. I used to do chains and after a while you see the same officials over and over In the playoffs they are all strangers they may be bad either way but certainly not biased. As far as being biased to the home team well wc has had the chance in regular season 2 years in a row to make that playoff game a home game for them but lost both times.

score will probably something like 3 to 2 with both teams defenses they could just cut to the chase and start on the 25 like ot I also dont want to hear any hard to beat somebody twice non sense. From what I have seen it happens all the time. Smyrna beat lavergne twice in 06 wc twice in 07 and wc twice in 08. Now smyrna did play riverdale twice in 06 and after losing 49 to 0 in the regular season won the 2nd game. hum? now that I look at it Smyrna has been pretty good in 2nd games they have won all 4 second games thay have played since 06 but as I said none of those will have any affect on this game

What can wc when they get their btts spanked 4 times in a little over a year. SMYRNA OWNS WC -4 WINS IN A ROW - THEIR PLACE, OUR PLACE, REGULAR SEASON OR PLAYOFFS WC IS THE LITTLE ENGINE THAT COULDN'T did those officials 1. fumble 4 snaps from center at crucial times at least twice in the red zone 2. cause at least 3 or 4 fumbled hand offs and pitches at crucial times not even caused by the defense but the qb 3. decide to go for it on 4th down at midfield in the in the first qtr the failure which gave smyrna field position they used to score 4. put in an offense that has about 3 or 4 plays with no pass threat at all 5. get burnt on pass plays on 3rd and long twice one for a td 6. not tackle on smyrnas 1st td where at least 7 or 8 players couldn't tackle our tb before he broke lose 7. have to use time outs in the second half because they had to many men on the field 8. take about 6 minutes off the clock in the 4th qtr to drive maybe 30 yards( down 19 pts but no hurry?) 9. 2 delay of games one after a time out when wc was going to go for it on 4th and one WAKE UP WC FUMBLED THE BALL 9 TIMES!!! THEY RECOVERD BUT IT KILLED THEIR DRIVES. The big problem I see in Smyrna" district is having to find 5 out of district games instead of the 3 we now have. Smyrna has a very hard time finding games and other teams that are seen as pretty good will also have a hard time finding games. Oakland will go from teams calling them to teams not retruning calls. The only reason Smyrna scheduled Brentwood Academy is because they could not get anybody else to play them. I am sure other good teams have dealt with this but now with 5 games instead of 3 it will be harder

It is clear the Smyrna player should be jailed immediately. A trial would be a waste of time. The media has investigated this and those who have read the acconts all agree that this was an atrocious act based on all the facts thay have read in the paper or seen on TV. That would be Smyrna Where just like every school in the region all our players on our 2 TIME DEFENDING STATE CHAMIONSHIP TEAM were TSSAA eligible to compete and all were attending schools in their zone or were approved by the school system to attend. As you would know successful teams have a way of attracting players as do un successful teams have of repelling certain players. Lets say for example you have a team that my aunt could play wide receiver for and that team uses an offense where the qb could wear mittens instead of gloves since he will only throw the ball during warm ups and lets also say you are a college level back and that team will give you the ball maybe 8 to 10 times a game running toward each sideline and maybe every now and then even fake it to you and hand it to someone going back the other way anytime they need over 5 yards. Do you think just maybe some of those kids that flocked to said school may decide those zone rules work both ways! lod/riverdalman - just messing with ya but you know in your heart you agree. Its a slow days so here are some interesting facts: First of all let me say wc could win this game they are well coached and good enough to do it ---- but---- heres why the won't teams have played 7 times smyrna has won 6 wc one in that one win they scored 38 pts since then 2006 - 0 2007 -23 (lost) 2007 - 7 2008 - 7 Smyrna has played wc 3 times in about 1 years time and won all 3 in the last 2 games played in less that a year wc has scored 1 td per game in the last game wc scored on their opening drive and after that never threatned again. We wont count 2003 2004 because wc was still new but the only scored 6 points total in both of those games Smyrnas defense has shown all year what it can do In 11 games played 7 of smyrnas opponents have scored 7 or less points against smyrnas defense wc's offense is great when it works but when it doesn't you get 3 ints etc Heck Smyrna knows their offense is going to be basic lets get 14 points up and go from there. Smyrna also has something at the end of the year they did not at the first one word IDENTITY!! The first of the year they thought the would be the old smyrna scoring 28/game and when that didn't happen they were confused. Well there not confused anymore they are a play defense run the ball smash mouth team that will take fgs or any points they can get they are basically the titans game plan!!

I retired from everything lasat year. It was a great way to go out. I am now a casual Smyrna fan. I still pull for them and go to all the games I can I am now a WKU fan. I go to the games and really enjoy it.

Thats odd?? did he not coach the second game last year, the one smyrna won? As for the player for Smyrna not being handled appropriately---- while the wc folks continue to already have this game won on the boards here with what I might add are ever increasing scores (oakland patriot is the only one who recognizes that smyrna like oakland is a pretty fair defensive team) -- the game has not actually been played yet so--- lets see how its handled

great kid and congratulations but-- I cant help but believe in my opinion that he would have received offers from some big time division one teams if he had not played out of position on some bad teams. He never really had a chance to show what he was capable of as a wr etc in another system. Dont blame blackmans coaches because they had to put him in the best position for the team but it probably was not a good fit for his college prospects.

riverdales record in rematches the last 2 years ZERO AND TWO rematches are where coaches have a chance to make adjustments from the previous game. smyrna in 2006 and wc in 2007 made those adjustments while riverdale rolled out the same plan they used earlier. coach adeylott is a good coach but he has made it clear he runs what he runs and he has been succesful enough with it that he is not going to change. the wing t you saw in week 1 will be exactly the same wing t you will see in week 10. now as for smyrna being happy to play wc not riverdale in the playoffs--------------------------------------------- well smyrna did what they had to do and was there waiting for the rematch but------------------------ riverdale never showed up /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> THE! dont know about riverdale but smyrnas numbers are huge for next year. I dont know how shad will handle the numbers since smyrna has tiny locker areas and we had aprox 20 kids last year dressing out of clothed baskets. This is what I heard the numbers look like for next year freshman that showed up at the various schools that will be attending smyrna in 2008 is over ------------- a hundred! varsity meeting held last week for returning players and others that want to come out was nearly 150!!! I think cutting back to 60 or 65 is not a good idea but there is no way smyrna can have any where near the numbers expected. Not to much detail now and is not relevant to the topic but smyrna has already had 4 or 5 players move in to the smyrna zone and one from outside that is supposed to be a bryson type kid.

smyrna tried to schedule maryville for game 3 this year but maryville already had a full schedule and could not do it so Smyrna ended up scheduling brentwood academy in a 2 year deal. even if 2 teams want to play it is difficult to match up weeks available
